My pasta was a lot better seasoned than the lobster pasta at a more fancy restaurant the day before. When the time came to pay, my husband went on and on about his pizza, and our waiter, Giuseppe, informed us that he had made it earlier and offered to teach my husband. I wished we had time to take Giuseppe up on this offer! I love this young man's earnest attitude and had to write this review to support him.

This was a delight to find. I and my 4 tour pals took a cab and walked a few doors up to the most quaint restaurant with outdoor seating. As Americans, we were excited to find meatballs and french fries, and several ordered just that. I went for the meatballs as well, with a side of roasted vegetables that were tender and full of flavor. The meatballs were seasoned well and perfectly cooked with a rich tomato sauce that reminded me of my late gramma's. Our waiter was a delight, full of humor, good conversation and recommendations. We all had gelato at the end of the meal which was also delicious. The quiet alleyway was enjoyable even though we were likely the biggest noise as we ate and laughed and talked as if we were family, despite having met mere days before. Wonderful place to eat!
