35 for a pedicure? . But wait...you want polish removed $5, calluses removed... $5, u want gel polish $20, So for what used to be included in a pedicure you wind up paying .... $65. Understand that before you go. Oh, and if you want to leave with moisturized feet......that's extra too. Nickel and dime establishments are greedy and not for me. But they seemed pleasant otherwise. My spa pedicure ($35) was adequate. The polish looks nice. Not perfect but I'm pleased with how they look. The process was the interesting part. She seamed in a rush, wasn't too thorough. The thing that I found most disturbing is that she did not use sterilized instruments. They were just the same ones from her cart. I honestly wouldn't have paid attention until she tried to use a USED pumice on my feet. Like very used. Then it dawned on me that nothing she was using on my feet was clean. Is that not a law here in Florida? If not, I would advocate for that. Or find a place that does it anyway even if it's not required. I was also planning to get a full set, but the price on the menu was $40+ and the guy was asking for $55 because of the gel topcoat. And I said OK well, then I'll just have a regular topcoat, but he wouldn't do it. So I said OK and how much to cut my cuticles and he said 20, for a total of $75. So I decided not to get my manicure here. It just seemed like even if I didn't get anything extra, no matter what he wasn't gonna do a full set for $40 like the menu said. This is going to be a long one. I went here for a nice spa day on my day off to get a full acrylic set & gel pedicure which was for my boyfriend & I's anniversary and I don't spoil myself often. To start, the pedicure was awful. Absolutely no cutting of the nails and didn't get asked what shape I wanted so the tech just went ahead and did round which do not compliment my toes at all. Yes this is gross, but I have alot of dead skin and cuticles on both hands and feet since it had been months since my last salon visit, none of them were cleaned & my feet weren't even scrubbed either to bring down my calluses which weren't terrible. The only positive thing I have for my pedicure is that the paint job was done nicely. Now for my Hands, I honestly thought they weren't so bad at first. I understand you're not supposed to flood the cuticles with product but It literally looked like I needed a fill that's how far they applied the acrylic and polish. One of my pet peeves is also when they don't properly polish the sides and ends and they missed a lot of the nail. Like usual the first day everything looks decent and when you've had them on and look at them more often you notice how much you hate them. A lot of my nails were shaped crooked, but the biggest issue was that not even a full week in is when my hair started getting stuck at the top of the nail while washing it. 1 WEEK IN AND I HAD TO BOOK A FILL SOME PLACE ELSE! I have never been so angry about wasting money when I shouldn't have had to in the first place! And while the other salon was filing off the old polish and acrylic, those nails were ready to POP OFF already they were not properly applied and were peeling all within A WEEK, that they had to fix them so I wouldn't need an entire full set. This is so upsetting since I did spend over $100 on this trip. I do not recommend going here at all you'd probably do a better job trying at home doing it yourself. read more

I received the worsted manicure and pedicure service I ever had. I was never given a manual of service choices. Or asked what level of service I desired , it was just assumed that I wanted the cheapest that was available. I watch as others come in requesting pedicures and was given a manual with the price list and levels of pedicures provided with the prices. I had to ask the price of the service she was providing to me. Never was given an option. I just want the owner and staff to know that people of color do give tips for services provided good or bad. Never again will I go to this Nail Salon. My nails are pealing after one day of service. read more

The pedicure was not done properly!! Then my hands was the top!! I'll never come back! I asked for a french in both foot and hands in the middle of my deep I asked her where was the white!! She decided to fix it with gel at the end! She asked me to wash my hands and when I came back she said My nails were ready without even look at it!! I walked in today after the nail salon I usually go to told me they'd just opened and it would be too long because I didn't make an appointment. I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived at L V because someone greeted me right away, even though they were also very busy. I added my name to come back in an hour and when i arrived back, was greeted again and immediately brought to a chair. My husband and I were seated next to each other for our pedicures. They even paid attention to timing so we'd finish together, even though I was also getting a full set. Everyone was pleasant and the results were terrific. I will definitely switch and start going to L V, instead of VIP across the street. read more

Definitely won't be coming back. I asked for a full set of gels with tips. They have me acrylics with gel polish. As soon as she starting applying the acrylic I told her, "No. I want gel, not acrylic." But she had no idea what I was talking about and made me feel stupid. I said whatever and let her go. She didnt push down or cut my cuticles prior to applying the acrylic. I asked her to and she no because there would be too much blood! My nails already look like I've had them on for a week and I just walked out. Then they were not even able to do the simplest of designs. I asked for a flower and they said they could it. DO NOT GO HERE!!! The staff are extremely rude. On one occasion, I witnessed the manager scream and curse out an employee at a neighboring business, while customers were inside. Because of this I didn't return here for a long while, but today I really needed a fill and this salon was the closest, and now I really regret having come here. I will admit I do occasionally bite my nails when stressed but i could not believe that the nail tech would point this out rudely and then proceed to call two other employees over to show them and talk badly about me in Chinese!!! No way to treat a customer, especially one who used to give you repeat business. So unprofessional and disrespectful. I will NOT be coming back. Trust me, take your business elsewhere. read more

First and last time here. Asked for a full set white tip. The beginning was ok. Then after she finds the tips I asked if they had gem, stone or some sort of glitter to add to the nail. I said it at least 4 different times and 4 different ways. She told me "no" me thinking all along that's odd a nail place has nothing but any other nail place I've ever gone too always has that. She proceeds to finish. My friend comes back with her nails done which look amazing I was like see I want glitter. I was then told you should have asked me!!!! Not only did I ask once I asked multiple times. Then she said you want a stone or design!!!???!!!! Are you kidding me!!?? That's what I asked for originally. I declined because I just wanted to leave. It would have been best to leave it there but she then said to me " my English no good I don't understand" she should had asked someone to help her I literally said 4 different time!! Please don't use you don't understand when things don't go your way. Apologize and don't make excuses for your error when a customer unhappy. You fix it that's how a business STAYS in business. Especially a business in its first 1-2 years of being open. You need people to share and support to get clientele up. I have 10,000 followers on twitter and know thousands of business owners, ceo and VP in this county. Word of mouth is what destroys a business. In addition to that I had glue all over my hands I had to pick off and once gone I realized that the tips are white but the gel or whatever it's called she put on top went too far over so I have like a clear line after the white tip stops. I am not a very picky person and have almost always walked away from a nail salon pleased with what I got, even if it's not exactly what I asked for. However, I honestly walked out of the salon disappointed today. I got a full gel set, I asked for an opaque white and she gave me a weird dull ivory color. Even after I told her it's not what I wanted, she didn't bother changing the paint but rather said "this still looks good it's ok, next time get bright white". And THEN proceeded to tell me "why don't you get a pedicure? You need one!" Every little thing was extra, even the tiniest little bit of glitter polish I asked for on HALF of each of my ring fingers- like, really? My nails genuinely hurt right now, she over buffed my natural nails. You go to a salon to be pampered- not to have sore nail beds. I literally went to the store afterward to buy white polish and paint over my nails the right color. I should not have to do that, especially after paying $55. Two stars for the cleanliness of the salon and that's about it. Really sad! read more
