I had a lovely woman show me the ropes, letting me sample some aged cheddar, an edible flower-crusted Comté and helped me pick among the half dozen or so scrumptious sausages that they sell as well. I finally decided on the homemade saucisson prepared by a nearby boucherie that the cheese shop has partnered with. The owner of the meat store was there as well and seemed extremely proud of her products. All of the cheeses and saucisson once home were devoured by our guests. Special shout out goes to the fabulous cinder-skinned goat cheese log and the sausage which was just out of this world. I also love that they place your products in little wicker baskets as you shop.
