Dr. Basil was a bit higher in price (not by much) but now I know why. The thing that earned Dr Basil our business was not just experience but He was the only orthodontist to not only talk to us about his plans but spent most of his time reassuring and talking to my daughter on her level about exactly what he would be doing with her. No other pediatric ortho did this. I'm not entirely sure there's a nicer person on the planet. Everything from scheduling by the front desk ,to his ortho assistants, to the follow up after braces came off. The whole process has taken 2 1/2 years and just when we thought they were going above and beyond they would do something else to prove their dedication and care. Dr. Mitchell has always taken care to precisely complete her work and now that she's moved on, the other doctors provide a the same level of excellent service. Dr Bartlett only recommended what was needed to achieve those goals, which was one phase of treatment. We were never pressured to get more services than what was needed. My daughter is now a 12th grader and we are returning to Dr Bartlett to have her retainer replaced after 8 years of wear. The price is less than the quote received from her regular dentist for a replacement retainer. It's important for me to be able to trust that recommendations are based on what is actually needed and not on revenue. They accept Medicaid and since it's a small little town and there are many people with Medicaid, that's the only reason why but there's some racism going on here beyond belief and many of the facilities. There's favoritism lies and many of these employees should not be working and they should all be drug tested and have an extreme background check done before hiring!!! it's not about growing the franchise. It should be about caring about the patients. It should be about not making excuses and telling them that you are going to contact the owner and then all sudden they fit you in. So instead of taking those 15 minutes on the phone and you telling them instead of taking 15 minutes with me on the phone I'm in the parking lot.
