The…read moreexperience left me so nervous about dental work that I avoided getting it fixed again for far longer than I should have, despite it being cosmetically unappealing. From the moment I came to this office, the entire team made me feel comfortable and understood. They were patient, reassuring, and never made me feel rushed or judged for being anxious. They were thorough Without making me feel overwhelmed. When it finally came time to fix my tooth, I was honestly expecting the worst. Instead, the procedure was completely painless, smooth, and far less stressful than I ever imagined. For the first time since the original damage happened, I was able to get the problem resolved without pain and without the overwhelming anxiety I had carried for years. I'm incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Giddens & ALL of the hygienists (I've probably seen every single one over the last two years lol) who takes my anxiety seriously and creates such a calm, supportive environment. If you're someone who struggles with dental anxiety like I did, I truly can't recommend this office enough. And the outcome was AMAZING.

I stopped wearing my retainer after a year because it hurt every time I used it and my teeth ultimately shifted back. The staff is incredible, the orthodontist is exceptional, and the whole overall experience was amazing. I got my braces on the same day as the consultation. The cost was broken down into interest free payments and I was given a realistic timeline for the length of my treatment. I never waited more than 10 minutes for my scheduled appointments. I would never recommend this clinic, especially if you value patient choice and respectful…read moretreatment. Before my daughter's first dental visit, I specifically called and asked if we could opt out of fluoride and X-rays. I was told this could be discussed with the doctor. Their intake paperwork even asks if you consent to X-rays, and I clearly marked no. I thought there would be a conversation. Instead, there was none. Dr. B. Gene Whitehead came in and immediately told me that if I refused X-rays, we should just leave, because they would not provide any care -- not even a simple cleaning, which I was prepared to pay cash for. I even said I would pay for the X-rays but did not want them performed, and the response was still, "No cleaning without X-rays." Dr. B. Gene Whitehead spoke to me in a dismissive and condescending way, as if patients have no say and must just obey whatever he decides. This was supposed to be my daughter's very first dental experience, and instead, I walked out feeling completely humiliated. I'm not someone who cries easily, but I left in tears from how belittled and disrespected I felt. That says everything about how poorly the situation was handled. A professional could still decline to provide a service, but with kindness and respect -- which was completely lacking here. I also want to clarify that this is not a holistic or patient-centered practice, despite how it may be recommended. They push X-rays and fluoride, and Dr. B. Gene Whitehead was very old-fashioned in his approach, showing no willingness to listen to patient concerns. Thankfully, I have already found another dentist who was happy to see my daughter for a cleaning without forcing X-rays. So yes, it is possible -- and patients deserve the right to choose what is best for their children. Overall: rude, unprofessional, misleading, and a complete waste of time.

This practice offers 0 communication on where your child is in the treatment. How long they may have left. I paid everything up front intentionally so that I could prepare for my next child's treatment but they never fail to just randomly throw additional charges in. My coverage is active and I have been in the same plan for over four years yet was told my coverage is inactive and I would need to contact Metlife myself to sort things out. In short after paying thousands of dollars for treatment they act as if they are doing you a favor as opposed to providing a service. And do not show up 5 minutes late for your appointment.
