I finally trusted her recommendations and she made me feel so much more comfortable with sedation and nitrous. They made everything easy, including insurance, and even helped make sure I could still wear my retainers with my temporary crown. My permanent crown came in early and they called and got me in the very next day. Such a great experience for something I had been dreading for so long!

These are the worst people in the world! Do not go here…read moreunless you wanna spend a fortune.... They charged me $571 to get my teeth cleaned. That's insane. I'm a dental hygienist. They took x-rays on each of my teeth & in addition to that they took a Panorex which was entirely not necessary, $124.00. I had to pay $50 out of my pocket and I've got dental insurance. They filed my insurance & they paid . But that wasn't enough for KLEMENT FAMILY DENTISTRY. My insurance paid what is normally charged for a cleaning. But it was not enough for these insane people at a supposedly family dental office! They do care about one Thing.......MONEY!! I am in my early 70s and I've had my teeth cleaned every six months all my life and I have never paid anywhere close to this amount........!!! I would rate my experience as the worst I've ever had in any dental office in my entire life......! These people deserve to be out of business..... WE IN SAINT PETERSBURG DO NOT NEED PEOPLE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID TO ME!

The office staff was very nice and helpful with my insurance, which I was surprised and grateful…read morethat they took. I had a consultation with Dr. Shaw. She told me exactly what kind of work I needed to have two wisdom teeth extracted. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Shaw and her assistant kept me at ease and performed the extraction with no problem and no pain. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. I am recovering well. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw for oral surgery.

I knew it was bad when I had to wait for over an hour after my first scheduled appt to get in with the xray tech. Then I got a whole 5 minutes with the dentist. All I really wanted was a cleaning. My teeth are in great shape, I've had all the orthodontia a kid could handle and have taken care of my teeth all my life. I had to wait another month for them to have an opening for a cleaning. I had a feeling they were gonna do an up charge as the dental assistant came in before I left to talk about how I need a deep cleaning to get back on track... ok whatever, I just want a cleaning. Fast forward to day of my appt. I leave work early and arrive to find this note. I try to call the following week.. Nothing and no way to get in touch with anyone in the entire company. Two weeks... nothing. Finally I call and get someone. Hello, why hasn't anyone called to reschedule my appt? No answer giving (didn't check to see if they had my correct contact info) but they are willing to schedule me in and I have to wait a few more weeks. I go today and tell them look I just want my regular cleaning that is covered fully by my insurance. They start to tell me they can't give me a regular cleaning... only the one with an estimate of $128 over what my insurance will pay. They couldn't just give me a regular cleaning and not do what the doctor "prescribed." Then they try to tell me that my appt was cancelled and they had called me. Surprise! They didn't have my number in their system correctly and had inverted two #s. Then they were trying to tell me since I didn't hit confirm on an email they sent me I'm out of luck. Excuse me? Unlike this office, I actually show up on time to my appts. They realize that this is problematic as I explain that this is the 2nd time I've had to leave work early to have you people mess up. They say ok... we'll have the hygenist look at you to discuss what's needed. I have to wait another 20 minutes and then we go back. I explain I just want a regular cleaning. He's looking at my teeth. It's obvious a regular cleaning would be fine. He tries to say there's a little bit of tartar here and there but says he can't overrule the dentist's "treatment plan" and that he's operating under his license. And guess what... the dentist isn't in on Weds or Fridays when they schedule the cleanings... so if there is a question or disagreement with your treatment plan... their hands are tied. So no cleaning is better for your oral health than a regular prophylaxis cleaning at this establishment. That makes perfect sense.

I have always hated going to the dentist, out of fear. I have a terrible gag reflex, and every…read moreexperience I had previously, was not good. I called Creating Smiles Dentistry after being told by another dentist office that I had to have EIGHT TEETH pulled. You heard me, EIGHT. Including my wisdom teeth, TWELVE. I wanted a second opinion. They agreed that that sounded extreme and got me in very quickly. I was very apprehensive, and explained to them over the phone how worried I was about my gag reflex and if I'd even be able to follow through with the work that needed to be done. They re-assured me that they would do everything they could to work with me, and let me tell you, they sure did. I arrived for my first appointment, nervous and shaking. As soon as you walk in, they offer you bottled water, and ask if you need anything. Wow, how sweet! I then was called back into a pristine clean room where I met Dr. Phane and her team. From there, it's all history. They have many ways to help you, if you are like me and have a horrible gag reflex. They are patient, caring, kind, attentive, and genuine. This is a very family-oriented dental team, who cares about all of their patients more than I've ever seen before. Or even heard of. They would give me salt to help with the gag reflex, and do my X-Rays and impressions so fast that I didn't even realize they were done! It was so easy! Hi everyone, my name is Morgan and I have Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage IV Terminal Brain Cancer. All I wanted was a beautiful smile before I passed away. And Creating Smiles Dentistry made this happen and exceeded my expectations. My eyes are full of tears as I write this long awaited review. As you read this review, please keep in mind, that I did get veneers, but the dental care here that I received prior to, and after, is out of this world. If you're looking for a caring community dentist, this is the place for you. If you're looking to get your teeth cleaned, this is the place for you. Whatever you are looking for, I have no doubt that Creating Smiles Dentistry will be your last stop for looking, and you will find whatever you need, want, or could imagine, done here. I explained my concerns, wishes, and needs to Dr. Phane, who quickly created an entire plan for my ENTIRE mouth. Starting out, filling cavities, root canals if needed, all that "fun" stuff. Then, we got to the exciting part. She constructed a 3D Model, including gum re-construction, of what she had planned. When I saw it, I cried. I never thought I would have straight, beautiful teeth, and seeing her holding this beautiful 3D Model of what her plan was for me, was absolutely mind-blowing. I had what some would call a "snaggle tooth" that stuck way out, and I wanted it gone. She explained the importance of having that canine tooth, and why she did not want to pull it. Instead, she wanted to reconstruct it! And that's exactly what she did. I was very eager to get started with veneers, but she also explained the importance of having all of my teeth that needed to be filled, or crowned, or what not done first, otherwise, veneers would just be a mask, but not a solution to my dental problems at that time. Fast forward 3 months. Here I am, 3 months later, with tears streaming as I write this out of love, gratitude, shock, and utter amazement with a beautiful, pearly white straight-toothed smile. Dr. Phane along with Nam (The Porcelain Veneer Lab Genie), made the impossible, POSSIBLE. They gave me confidence that I never had. I would never smile in photos, or I'd cover up my mouth. I'd even cover it if I laughed. And now, I want the world to see my teeth! I want the world to see me smile, to see me laugh, and I can do that without feeling insecure. These people, EVERYONE, at Creating Smiles Dentistry care. You aren't "just another patient" to them. They take the time you need, make accommodations for you, reschedule you if you cannot come in, and work with you in full. They make sure that you're comfort level, and what you are looking for, is taken care of with ease and patience. They really do care. More than any dentist office I have ever walked into. This place, and these people deserve a rating that is off the charts. 5 stars does not do them justice. If you want a beautiful smile, to feel confident again, and to feel listened to, and heard with outstanding results, then you have found the perfect dentist, right here at Creating Smiles Dentistry. Thank you beyond words to all of the wonderful staff, but mostly to Dr. Phane who made my dying wish, possible.

He doesn't advertise - because - he doesn't have to. Word of mouth is his only advertising. The office is a family run place and I actually enjoy going there. I'm glad to have found an awesome dentist! I can tell you this...even if I move to Tampa, I'll keep coming here. He's just that good.

He refused to come in after I had my teeth cleaned to look at my mouth, I told him I had problems, he refused to help me & gave no excuse. There was another review about him exactly like mine. Look at the worst reviews when checking them and believe what you have read. I went to another dentist after two long years of putting up with this pathetic Fake Ofa dentist. I went to LLOM and he's incredible. I had eight cavities that incompetent McSherry ignored. To say he sucks is a massive understatement. When I had my teeth cleaned at McSherry's, the hygienist told him, but did not tell me that I had a mouthful of cavities because I had dry mouth - where you have no saliva in your mouth when you're sleeping. Incompetent McSherry would not help me even though I asked him more than once to take exrays and find out what was going on. I had no pain so I didn't I had eight cavities. To me this guy is totally incompetent, he acts like a charmer, and he pretends to care when he does not give a shitte about his patients. He is a good actor and he should be reprimanded by the medical boardfor his unprofessional practice . I need my medical records from him so I can go to the board to complain about his level of severe ineptitude. His hygienist told him I needed help, she told him I had problems. She was as white as a sheet after she talked to him, and he refused to provide care for me again, I had been a regular patient of his. DON'T trust this jerk like I said, for me he is the worst of the absolute worst. He charged me a lot of money to put a crown on a that fell off & it was only half a crown, it only covered half my tooth. That's what this Scammer thief McSherry did. For greed. To get my money, and to do an absolute incompetent crap job. Come to find out the tooth was too small for a Crown. So the thief McSherry charged me at least $1200 & it fell off within the year, so I had to have it redone with a competent who was not a con-artist . So, in order for greedy McSherry to make money off of me he put a crown on a that was way too small to begin with. He knew it didn't fit, but.he did it anyway. That is a shitte dentist and That is McSherry. What a weird incompetent creep. For he was a moneygrubbing unethical, immoral shitte. It was a total loss because of his glaring incompetence. He sucks, he's the absolute worst of the worst, in my experience....so,don't trust him, like I said, he pretends & puts on a good show, while doing nothing. I trusted that incompetent freak - he knew I had problems. Who DOES that? That incompetent creep denied me care for about two full years while I had eight cavities in my mouth.. But McSherry loves patients who don't any need any work done, unless he can a doesn't fit That'll fall off within the year. That guy should not even have a license that's how pathetic he is. DON'T. TRUST HIM WITH YOUR DENTAL CARE OR WITH YOUR MONEY. IF you want a great dentist that you don't ever have to feel worried about or wonder if he's doing the right thing, call Dr. CULLOM, he's the BEST. (22nd Ave N.) & is trustworthy, ethical, never does incompetent, inappropriate or sloppy work.
