In town to shoot a show... we all wanted pizza so off we went. I'm so glad we did, they were so gracious to us and the food was fantastic! We were lucky enough to have Juliana as our server. She took care of everything and was right there when we needed another Spritz... which we did need and loved. All kinds of pies at such reasonable prices. Tiramisu was a great way to end! It's a cool vibe and it's busy so call ahead. The area is called bikini Berlin and it's so fun to walk after dinner. So, great service, really good food and good prices! I love Berlin!!! read more

Awesome service, awesome food, amazing time! T was way too hot to sit inside after we got seated and instantly were moved outside. Our waitress was very polite, helpful and very sweet towards my daughter. She made it so much easier to enjoy our meal! I've never had a waitress be so interactive before! I ordered the tortellini special, which was absolutely amazing and my friend ordered the risotto!! Both dishes were absolutely amazing! Great food for a chain restaurant. Can't go wrong with the pizzas and pastas. Friends love this place.

The pizzas we ordered were all well undercooked ( the center area of the crust was pretty much raw dough), but this (believe it or not) was not the biggest problem with this restaurant. The customer service was very lacking; the servers were completely uninterested in attending to the customers who had to wait... and wait... and wait (basically having to walk up to them to get them to come to the table and do their job)! Lastly, and even more problematic, were the 3-4 children who were allowed to run crazily around the establishment, annoying everyone there who is trying to enjoy a meal out with friends. These children were from a table of a family that seemed like they owned the restaurant or managed the place (?), but whatever the case, these children needed to be taught better behavior particularly when out in public. read more

Great location, floor to ceiling windows, and friendly staff. Their pizza tastes amazing, the crust is light and crispy, just perfect. Although they have a smaller selection of pasta but its really good, I've tried the spaghetti pomodoro and pasta with lobster sauce, they're both really good, a little on the salty side for Berlin though (the food here is always missing salt) I'd recommend l'osteria for anyone who just wants a comfortable atmosphere and have some yummy pizza. The pizzas here are very large. They're also very thin so it actually isn't extremely filling. You get complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. The Niçoise salad was good but a little overdressed did my liking. Also, definitely ask for chili oil if you like spicy. It makes for a great pizza topping. read more

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. Came for dinner last night and ordered 3 dishes. We noticed one of the things we had ordered never came out. The server was very inattentive and did not stop by at our table to ask if we needed anything. He brought the bill quickly after we finished the other two meals and I mentioned that he never brought out the salad and it is on the bill. I asked him kindly to fix the problem. He became rude and blamed me for not telling him that the salad never came out. He ended up talking to his manger, came back and got even more mad at me. Then he said normally I would have to pay because apparently it is my fault that I didn't remind him. I told him I am not paying for the salad that we never received in the first place. What kind of service is this? Lastly, what kind of restaurant does not serve tap water? Their service is absolutely ridiculous, I will not return here. read more

Long day in Berlin and a good lunch is essential to survive the city adventures. We stumbled upon the Bikini shopping centre next to the Zoo and spotted L'Osteria next to it. Definitely the place to go, relax and enjoy good food! We had salad, pizza and pasta. All in all, everyone was happy what they got. The salads and pastas are relatively big and will get rid of your hunger even if you are accustomed to eat bigger portions. They could consider putting a little bit less dressing to the salad or serve it aside (I guess you can always ask for it set aside). But the pizzas - oh man. They are huge and they are good. If there is anything to cause food envy, it is the pizzas. Be sure you do not want one if someone is ordering one :) The service was excellent and they spoke good english. Their kitchen was busy and worked well during the busiest lunch hour. They have a huge terrace too, so in warm and sunny days you can go outside and enjoy the bustling of the city while eating. read more

Service was awesome and pizza was awesome. You might get stared at a bit for folding the slices and eating with your hands in Germany, but well worth the scrutiny to enjoy this flaky, thin crust. Had the Caprese salad and a salami pie. If your tired of repeated schnitzel here is your vacation god-send. Service is phenomenal and the waiters speak some English,which is not necessary, but definitely a perk. Dinning area is beautiful, beer selection is not infinite, but all the selections are tasty (I had the Paulaner Hell). Great atmosphere, polite multilingual staff, but that's where the niceties end after the food is served. The pizzas we ordered were huge upon arrival, which was great it seemed, but at which point the waitress also told us, and I quote "Sometimes the cheese goes black when it's cooked, but if that's not ok let us know" to see that a 1/4 of my pizza was black cinder. I hate complaining (like anyone) so agreed it should be ok and would ignore it and just eat the rest. Unlike the couple near us who were wise enough to send there's back immediately. It turned out it was all over cooked, the cheese dry and hard and the base required no utensils, as it snapped and crunched like a bread stick. After enduring to eat less than half, with no enjoyment of our meal, we gave up and uncomfortably informed the original waitress (not the inventor of black cheese) of our dissatisfaction and asked for the bill. She was very polite stating they would've replaced it at first, but still kindly removed the cost of our drinks from our bill. Though still we paid for 2 badly cooked pizzas. A point of note, as a chef myself: As a rule, If something is burnt, it should not leave the kitchen. It's not a waitresses job to fob people off by convincing them cheese turns black when cooked. read more

Even though we timed it really badly (sunny and warm saturday at 16.00) we got a table for two inside. The food took 30-40min (which the waitress told us about beforehand) and it was nice. We got a corner table by the window. Its great that you can order two different pizza halves. We did so. It was delish. Tourist Trap! I was there on a quiet day with my husband. We waited 10 minutes for a Menu. Then waited 10 minutes for someone to ask us for drinks. The drinks took another 10 minutes until my husband got up and went to the bar to get them. We then ordered the food which was delivered in normal time. The portions were good but the taste was not special. I ordered the scampi pasta and my husband a pizza. the pizza had way too much cheese...The personal was totally overwhelmed and run back and forth like chickens with the head cut off. They were not friendly, no personality and not apologetic at all for the long wait. I saw a lot of tourists here. This place has a great location and great terraze but just like Neni in the Hotel 25 Hours a tourist trap. Bad service, average food, overpriced. Overall bad management. For good Italian for lunch I would recommend in the area Luandi, Vapiano or for that matter any of the Petrocelli restaurants. read more
