The restaurant has now expanded into the adjacent premises and so is high more spacious and can accommodate many more diners. We ate there this evening and despite being heavily booked, they fitted us in and we were served quickly. The food is still very good - the salads are exactly as I remember them, though this time we had pizza (Vegetaria) and pasta (Lucia - chicken & mushrooms in a creamy sauce) as mains. Oh my. Hidden gem indeed! This is a tiny, tiny place so grab a reservation if you can. But it's worth it. True Italian atmosphere and the amazing food that deserves. The service was perfect. Very personal and even Italian-style opinionated. The food was on par, too - I had the Seeteufel (monkfish) which was spicy, savory, and everything I wanted. Other than wine. Which I also ordered. Went with friends to Da Lucia and I was amazed by the quality of the food. True authentic Italian and the flavors were beyond delicious. Our waiter was so friendly and amazing and helped us through the menu. My favorite was the cannaloni with spinach and ricotta cheese. My friends ordered penne pasta and spaghetti pasta with pink sauce and chicken. All dishes were so good and we finished it all in few minutes. Will for sure come back to this place. read more

We being sat down by and older kinda creepy waiter (in my opinion, but I have the tendency to judge too quick) We order food, I get the lasagna, my partner orders some meat, but the waiter says no and tells him to order the other type of meat. We kinda like ok.. Food arrives, mine was excellent, and surprisingly my partner was really happy with the food the server told him to get. Maybe next time ease into telling your patrons what's better.. but hey it worked and we were happy about it. Fast forward to Saturday night it's our last night together so we go back to the restaurant as the food was great and we liked it there. Again we are being sat down by the same older Italian/German waiter We both order pizza and wine. Again the waiter knows his stuff and tells us no get this one and we do. He was right again.. It was an absolute delightful dinner UNTIL IT WASNT. I'm 100% sure he started to drink throughout his shift and by the end of it got trashed and he wasn't as responsive and alert as he was at the beginning of it.. I asked for the check and I'm waiting because he's having a long and loud conversation with his friends. He finally comes and as I'm asking for the check I also ask for a beer to go. As I'm paying HE GRABS MY PARTNER's NIPPLE UNDER HIS TANK TOP LICKS HIS FINGERS AND SQUEEZES HIS NIPPLE AGAIN.. BEYOND DISGUSTING I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF ESTABLISHMENT IS THIS. Wonderful Italian cafe. OUtdoor seating. Food is very good in huge portions. Literally, the best mixed salad I ever had with their outstanding in-house made dressing. Excellent service. The food is decent but the service and the waiters are horrible. They are so full of themselves and think they're clever but their put on friendliness is just a cold, calculated act. I've eaten there several times in the past year despite the waiters because I live just around the corner. I went there for dinner tonight around 7 PM with a friend and we were told that we had to sit outside, in the cold, because inside was reserved for a private event. After we were finished we noticed that inside the restaurant there were several people seated at different and it was not a private event. This was the last time that I'll ever eat there. read more

The best italian restaurant in town. Period. Real italians serving and cooking. I've always missed the real italian pizza and pasta that enjoyed in Italy until I found this place. Casual relaxed place with good prices and a quality you can't find in upscale italian places in Berlin. Very good ingredients. Great find while we were visiting Berlin. Pros: Authentic great tasting food. Great prices, small and intimate with some outside seating. Cons: No credit cards, CASH ONLY. I'm thinking the place doesn't have more reviews because it seemed like al lot of local regulars frequent this restaurant. No fancy lights or candles. Just good food.
