I usually only like shredded hash browns but their breakfast potatoes were perfect. They weren't hard and had a good flavor. The restaurant was clean but very small. It had a nice relaxing feel. I love to try the food of the country I'm visiting, but after traveling for two weeks it was nice to have something I eat at home. The eggs Benedict was a treat. I had the hot amaretto coffee drink and that just hit the spot and made the waiting to be seated all worth it. The had many types of milk you can put in your coffee, for example, they have soy milk, oat milk, etc. I would definitely recommend this place and come back. The staff are super friendly, coffee delicious, and the large windows slide open so that it feels very open air in the nice weather. This place feels like a local coffee shop (although a fair smattering of tourists stop in). I felt at home here, and welcomed, and loved their pastry/coffee options. The shop is just as elegant (some would say a bit snobbish, but this is a tea shop so...) and offers a great amount of choice of teas from all around the world presented in very beautiful boxes. The lady that I met this day was very helpful and nice and she helped me choose very efficiently. The prices vary from 4€ for a standard Chinese tea to 9€ for 100g of tea. La via del té has three shops total in Florence and in the other two you can seat and have a cup of tea on the spot. The via della Condotta one is only a shop. You can also buy here, besides tea, all sorts of tea pots (some very beautiful!!) and tea instruments. In brief: I highly recommend for people looking for goo quality tea!

We came to Florence on a cruise and probably one of the hotter days of this year. We showed up at Vivoli and clearly the Tik Tok went viral, because it was very crowded. We waited in line and it moved rather quickly. We debated on ordered the regular and the pistacchio, but decided to go with the regular affogato. Upon ordering and entering the establishment, it gave off the cutest old time coffee shop vibe. The staff was working diligently to process orders. We watched this well-oiled machine of a staff for several minutes while they passed out 10-15 affogatos within 30 seconds. We sat on the curb and enjoyed ours in the glass cups they gave us. This was a highlight for us. The creamy gelato with espresso on the spoon was perfect for a hot day. I hope this business continues to thrive and I look forward to recommending it to everyone I know heading to Florence.
