I tried the NazionAle, a blonde ale, and the ColoniAle, an IPA. The NazionAle was easy drinking, what we would call a lawnmower beer in Florida, something for hot days, or socializing without getting messed up. The ColoniAle was a decent IPA, a little less hoppy than the typical IPA that I am used to drinking in the US. There is a full menu available, but we had already eaten earlier, so settled for fagioli cannellini alla'olio (cannellini beans in olive oil), and a pretzel (brezen) with nutella. The beans were good; the pretzel was seemingly stale, and a little tough to eat. The place is warm and intimate inside. There are some seats at the bar, but seating is typically at tables. Service was typical of what we have experienced in Italy, which is to say, not very attentive; I had to flag down a server to get a second beer. But, it is something I am used to having travelled to Europe several times.

The restaurant is quaint, charming, and cozy and located in quieter part of town. An expansive selection of craft brews as well as wines were offered. My wife and I ordered the insalata mistas, Ravioli di Pecorino Salvia, and the Pici Al Ragu. We were very pleased with our selections and the all the dishes met our satisfaction. The ravioli was served hot and fresh with a pecorino cheese, sage, and walnuts. A nice change, creative, and delicious. My Pici was al dente with a very tasty red duck sauce. Perfect combination of Ragu and pasta. The service was very good and friendly. The prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a very good dining experience and worth the visit.

This is a great place to have a few beers. The bartender…read morespoke English and was very patient. They carry several of their own beers which are solid and a must try, as well as guest beers. 16 in total including a beer engine which you don't see everywhere. They also offer a flight of 4 beers, but it is not posted. It was a narrow bar that went deeper and dark, just what I like in a bar. I walked in at 6 as well as a dad with 2 toddlers, in need of a beer No one even turned an eye, in fact they seemed to like the kids there. They open everyday at 6pm

After a long day of museums and pizza at Gustapizza (which I will post about separately!) we made a stop for a couple of beers from a craft brewery in Florence. Located in a city surrounded by wine makers, Archea Brewery is knocking it out of the park. They are an independent craft brew pub founded in 2012. They have a combination of house made beers and other artisanal beers focused on Italian producers, but do have others from across the region. We had two of their beers, which were extremely flavorful, and two beers from other craft breweries. Beers: Archea Melissa | Honey Ale Archea Salniette | Blanche Con Salvia Cantina Errante Saison Du Coupage 2021 | Lambic Blend / Saison Barrel Aged BFM 225 Saison | Sour Saison Oak Aged We loved both their own beers and the other local breweries with Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes (BFM) being a small, artisanal brewery in Saignelégier, Jura, Switzerland winning global acclaim with their unique offerings, and Cantina Errante located in Florence, Italy focused on exploring their surroundings through their beers. Highly recommend a stop here if in Florence and needing a craft brew!
