The sweetest tea setup.

The sweetest lil place, and the waitress is a doll! Yarn, tea, comfort cozy place that is a wonder for worn travelers like me. That caramel rooibos revived me. The walls are filled with yarn, and the place is filled with sweet elderly neighborhood folks, toddlers and family. Highly recommend it!

Cute tea shop in the Buttes aux Cailles. If you like knitting, there's yarn right there in the shop to buy and get started.

Ending Paris the Way I Started It -- With a Crêpe!…read more It was my final day in Paris, so naturally I decided to end my trip the same way I started it: with a crêpe! Instead of salmon this time, I went with chicken and ordered the Mykonos -- chicken, mozzarella, basil, and pesto -- and added spinach because, you know, fiber. The crêpe was delicious! Definitely the highlight of my visit, so shoutout to the cook because they did their thing. I also ordered an iced coffee with vanilla syrup, but what arrived was...not quite that. It was some sort of iced latte-ish drink that was very sweet. I'm still not entirely sure what I drank, but we were short on time, so I just rolled with it. The restaurant itself is really cute, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's in a great spot that gets lots of sunlight, so the natural lighting is chef's kiss -- especially if you're trying to get a cute brunch pic. Unfortunately, the service was pretty subpar. The woman behind the bar greeted us warmly and told us to sit wherever we liked, but once seated, our server didn't acknowledge us until I flagged him down. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, yet he still seemed impatient and brusque throughout our interaction. Overall, I really enjoyed my crêpe and would absolutely come back for the food. Hopefully next time with a different server...and the iced coffee I actually ordered.
