Very comfortable. Small staff helpful & courteous in two languages. Emphasis is on relaxation and quiet. Massages enjoyable. Spas: Hot & cold, sea salt, rosemary, "mud". Steam room, indoor & outdoor saunas, large indoor outdoor pools. Food was delicious. Cold & hot Buffet-style but high level. Variety of seafood, meat, veggie-choices, salads, desserts. All very good, worthy of Quebec. Thing to remember is that it's not a full service hotel. No 24-hour service. Meal & spa times are not etched in stone. They're open when they're open in a timeframe. We had a great weekend.

Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The massage was one of the best I've ever had--highly skilled and incredibly relaxing. The eucalyptus steam room was especially sublime and a highlight of the day. Even with a 3-hour drive, it was absolutely worth the trip. I'd definitely go back.

My initial thought was that I needed a map - I did ask the front reception to explain the layout yet it wasn't as intuitive as I had hoped. The saunas were nice and everyone followed the rules of silence. The outdoor spas were nice as well. The paths were cold yet the temp was pretty chilly. The massage was solid and I had no complaints. My only frustration is that I didn't know all the areas to explore so I guessed as well as asked some folks. Others didn't seem to know where stuff was either. Check out was easy and seamless.

Complete with four different saunas, three hot tubs, a four-season pool and two relaxation yurts, we enjoyed our two-day spa circuit and never really got bored of the offerings. Having booked a massage and an evening at the villa, the whole kit and caboodle came to $390, tax in, for both of us. Compared to other deals in the area this was the best I could dig up. The serene outdoors aspect of the spa was definitely my favourite. Additionally, visiting while it was chilly but still warm enough to walk around in a robe made the experience that much better. I highly recommend doing your cold dip at some point in the waters by the fall and then relaxing in the hammocks slightly away from the other visitors. The massages varied for us- my mom loved her massage while I could have done without the dude farting the whole time (true story). That being said, the little heated yurts they use by the water for massages are down-right perfect. Finally, the villa we slept in was lovely. I truly recommend making the most of your visit and spending the night (they throw a second day of the baths in for free). While it's a pretty no-frills situation: no breakfast, shared bathroom and small room it's soooo nice to wake up and head back to the baths.

Lots of variants of products (soaps, laundry soap, bath bombs, creams, etc.) Owner took time to explain to us, in English, the process of the soaps. Lots of space in the shop. Prices are reasonable for these kind of products. Promotion of " Spend this much and get this many soaps " actually worth it. Samples of soaps given in our bags. Huge parking lot. The bad: The smell of the place can be overwhelming for people who are smell sensitive. Prices can look expensive for some. Place can get busy, very quick (we were by ourselves in the shop, but as we left, three cars pulled back-to-back in parking lot). Can be missed if you drive at a quick speed on the road going to the abbey. Covid restrictions: Masks obligatory. Hand sanitizer at entrance. Cannot say anything about social distancing as we were by ourselves, but owner made an effort to stay distanced from us. Plexi glass at cash. Thee we experience was great and we started using the products last night (bath salt that, surprise, had a small bottle of essential oil in it). We will definitely go back as we often go to Magog.
