I came here on a rainy night while visiting Paris, and it was one of the most memorable meals of the trip. Our waiter was an older gentleman dressed in traditional Moroccan clothing of djellaba and a skull cap. The service was excellent all around, but his special technique of pouring tea in a long, steamy stream while holding the teapot several feet above the cups is really something to see. I had a duckling tagine with apricots, onions and figs. Just heavenly, and the perfect antidote to the damp and drizzle outside. My only caution is to let the tagine cool for a while before you take a bite. It is approximately the temperature of lava when it hits the table. I also appreciated that they offered menus in English and French, since my high school French isn't what it used to be. I've been dreaming of returning since my last trip to Paris, and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!…read more Saturday night with a few friends we decided to enter this place . We were 10 of us but only 6 of us got a place to sit , so the rest decided to stay out . As soon as we were seated, one of the two guys seated next to us started harassing us and passing lewd remarks at me . At first I ignored and then eventually when we asked him to stop sternly, he started insulting me and my friends . We complained to the security and staff but they were friends with those guys and did nothing. They asked us to change seats and even then the guy continued with his remarks . Eventually the manager came and WE were asked to leave . But they did nothing about those guys who were so disrespectful .The staff was extremely rude to us . I will definitely never recommend this place to anyone ( highly unsafe for a group of women )and especially considering their poor service . The man was so incredibly rude from the moment we were seated . This experience spoiled our night !!!

The man working was so incredibly rude from the moment we walked in and asked for a table. He was not acting friendly and just wanted to take our order quickly. We ordered a mint and apple shisha, which he brought to us with 1 coal on top and 2 on the side. Seemed normal, and we could just light the additional coals ourselves. 3 quick light coals, however, is nowhere near enough for a whole bowl. When we were at the last coal, I asked for new ones. The guy barely looked at me and replied in the snobbiest voice: "You already have one. That's enough". And he carried on and didn't pay us any attention. He was being equally rude to other guests and he seemed so miserable. My other friend arrived and I asked for another mouth piece. He kind of rolled his eyes, went and grabbed one, and threw it down at the table. My other friend also attempted to ask for another coal (we were completely out at this point) and he said "No, you can't have more. I already gave you extra". Our minds were blown! What kind of shisha bar doesn't provide more than 3 coals?! I hope this was an isolated experience. But the service was so awful that we couldn't wait to leave. I really do not recommend this place.

This place is ultra cool! The decor is completely Moroccan, while the food is completely delicious!…read moreThey dont have too many selections between couscous, tajine and grilled meats. They come in this wonderful cooking pot that's super hot to the touch and really cool looking. Their perfumed rice is probably what really rocks the world. I've never had anything like it. They have "grey wine" too, something indigenous to morocco? I dont know. All i know is that i loved the food and i loved the experience. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the prices. Take away one star because each dish is 27 EUR. The price is kinda ridiculous but I think I will go back anyway. It's that good! GET THE TAJINE!!!
