Their website says they open at 7pm, but when I arrived shortly after 7 some rude girl told me they don't open til 8. Lame

Pleasant decor, bland food, awful wine. If you are looking for a good Parisian couscous, this place, alas, is not it.

Everything about this place I loved! The owner knows our…read morefriends who live in Paris, so that is always a good first impression. We sat at the window in this little lookout area onto the street, this area was so sweet because it had curtains that could be pulled across if your party filled the two table space. The owner was funny and entertaining and laughed and joked with us and all of his customers, he had that great quality of making everyone feel special. I saw couples, groups and whole families eating here. I ordered the chauchokra(sp) to start, it's like a tomato based vegetable dish with a fried egg in the middle. My friend's Mom from Morocco cooked this for me in Boston and this was just as yummy. For my main I got the chicken tagine which was cooked to perfection with vegetables and white raisins and the chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. I have no idea what spices they use in this dish, but it was probably the best meal I had in Paris. My boyfriend had the cous cous with all sorts of meat and this came with a big bowl of broth and vegetables, which tasted really amazing too. I loved everything about this place, even down to the little napkins. We had a bottle of wine that complimented the whole meal and we shared desserts and mint tea that was poured "long" by the waitress. We were welcomed and treated so well here, I would definitely like to come back here to experience it again.

It's the locals the frequent the restaurant, the ambiance and the reception you get from the owner when you enter. It feels good to be back! Due to the copious amounts of food, we decided to share a Brick Kefta as an entree. I had the Tagine Kefta (lamb meatballs with onions and egg) and my husband had the Couscous Berbere. They were both excellent (of course)! We finished with some Baklava an I had some of their excellent Mint Tea! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone at any time! What a wonderful place to dine at and one of the places I would miss dearly. Till next time....

Once you placed your order, they serve you traditional Moroccan Maghrebi mint tea. I liked how they put on a lil show when pouring tea, and it was delicious and warm on a cold winter day! We opted for Plat du jour (the plate of the day) & msamen nature to share, I enjoyed the couscous which was not soggy but nutty and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with the stew. Would recommend order their msamen nature, the texture was really good. The only con would be the meats, maybe we didn't order the right kind, they were a lil dry and tough. One of the better Moroccan food experiences I have had. A great option to try out in this market!

Our hotel was very close to this food hall and we just stumbled upon this place and we are so glad we did! There were so many food options within thos market and we landed on this Moroccan spot as i noticed the fresh looking dishes and the lovely flavors you could smell just by walking by! We ordered a couple of tangine dishes with couscous and both were absolute perfect with tender meat and fresh vegetables! The Moroccan mint was the perfect pairing and gave us the energy to walk and explore Paris all day!!!
