Master craftsmen like Alexander are busy for a reason, and the vast majority do not take on small side projects. Take a quick glance at his work on his website and you'll see what I mean.  I loved working with Alexander. He is professional and has a lifetime of experience. This was particularly important for our project in an old building, with warped, uneven walls that were difficult to drill into. Many people told us it would not be possible to do this project, but Alexander had the skillset to make it happen. He was able to adapt on the fly and work very quickly while maintaining the quality and look we were hoping for. He is a wizard, and even took apart one of our cabinets and redesigned it upside down on the fly so it would open properly under the heavy oak desktop. I was able to watch and learn alongside him. It's like watching an artist at work. As a bonus, he has great stories about old townhouses in Brooklyn if you like architecture and history.   I highly recommend this local business. He even sent us a few pictures of similar work he had done. We sent him the deposit and was all set. Rained pretty heavily on Friday and he reached out and said he thinks it would be best to reschedule for Saturday at 9am due to needing to possibly saw some pieces outside. Liked that he took the initiative to reschedule instead of taking a chance. Showed up perfectly on time on Saturday, all supplies ready to go. Told us he thought the work would take 2-3 hours- he was done in about an hour! Did a great job and you can't even tell the difference between the existing door frame and the new piece. Left everything in great condition and requested a broom so he sweep up. We also have a kitchen cabinet that cracked- and wanted to show him. He explained how we could easily and cheaply just fix it ourselves. So cool. Really nice guy who does great work- we will keep him in mind for future needs and highly recommend him!

Like many I have hear absolute horror stories about contractors , how they start a job then leave,…read morethat they never show up when they are supposed to, how they make a mess and leave it or once they get their money you never see or hear from them again. To say I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism would be an understatement. First I told them I could not get there before 8:30 am and when I was able to arrive 15-25 minutes early they were already there and patiently waiting for me . I was greeted by one of the owners Vito and he would tell the workers in detail what to do and what he wanted accomplished for that day. Also let me add that he did not do this only once but every day till the work was completed and everyday he would inspect the work that was done. I asked when does he think the work will be finished and his answer was " Friday ." Well let me tell you the work started on Tues Feb 5 2019 and ended Fri Feb 8 2019 just as he said. No surprise costs to me , no leaving the job undone and taking the workers elsewhere to start another job and no mess left behind. Absolutely no headaches !!! This company made what could have been a nightmare into a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Everyday I was amazed at what had be accomplished and how great it looked to the point that the people I had come in to show were shocked by the transformation ( so was I ).
