I called several other companies that never returned my call. Donta was responsive and extremely professional answering all of my questions. Naj did a wonderful job at creating a design based on my list of "must haves" and my husband and I were impressed with the results. They were meticulous with the details and followed up for our feedback. This is our second project with them. The first job was clearing out our backyard and completing a full paver installation. I would definitely work with them again.

The plumbing company left a mess, damaging our tree, crushing bushes, and leaving big pile of dirt in the yard. We called Ridley's. They came out promptly for an estimate, and once we said yes, they came out promptly and did an amazing job. They did so well that our neighbor was watching them work and hired them on the spot to do some grading in his yard. For the grass, they offered us the option of doing sod or seed. We went with the seed, so the (after) picture just shows the straw, but we anticipate having a beautiful lawn next summer. They were highly professional, worked hard, and simply got the job done as it should be done. We talked to another company that seemed cheaper, but they didn't give me the confidence that Donta gave me, and now that the job is done, I can say that confidence was well placed.

This blurb about repairing hardscaping is on his website: https://www.driftwood-landscaping.com/hardscape-repair-restoration.htm The paver/hardscaping repair that Ryan's crew did for us began to have issues after the first winter -- sinking, pavers separating and becoming uneven -- the exact issues that we hired him to fix. I felt confident that Ryan would repair these issues, so I called him. He visited and offered to repair it the "right way" for $1500 or a "quick fix" for $500. I did not rehire Driftwood to fix a problem that I hired him to fix in the first place. I am extremely disappointed and cannot recommend this company.

Some things needed to be removed all together. Some beds needed to be created new altogether. There were borders to build, flagstone to lay or stack, trees and stumps to remove, bushes to replant. And the crew did all of it excellently! They understood what I was going for and made a few suggestions as to where to move things or how to design things. The crew that came out was hard-working, very respectful of my property, and nice guys all around. I was able to trust them to make decisions about things even while I was away. They treated my place like it was their own mother's yard. They never balked at any of the changes I made during the days they were here. I was very pleased with the work they did and the results I got. Even little things like getting rid of some scrub trees inside a large spruce tree, they didn't just cut it down... they dug the intruder up so that it won't bother me again! They even reseeded any areas that they parked pallets on or disturbed even though I didn't see the need for it! They really just left my property looking great. I would use them again any time I need any yardwork/landscaping project done. They weren't the cheapest estimate, but worth every penny!

One of these pictures on his website is of my screened in porch that Larry Shueman of Tri state property solutions built for me. Everything he did was a complete abomination. Within one month the shingles of the roof had huge areas that popped up because they didn't nail down the plywood underneath the shingles. The shingles were put on wrong and didn't overlap the edge of the roof like they are supposed to and water leaked all behind the gutters and into the porch and flooded my basement. The gutters were not put on right either not graded they way they were supposed to. He went way over the original estimate that he gave me. My back yard was torn up for almost a year. Even when he was building I told him of my concerns and he didn't fix them or cared. The backyard grading was wrong and I told him and he didn't care or fix it. The grass never grew back even though he assured me it would. We even had a propane gas leak but that was Bouldens fault. When I told him about the gas leak and about my wife and two daughters in the house during the gas leak he laughed at me. I am still trying to fix all the problems he caused. The only thing that was done right was the cement porch base that was put in and that was because he sub contracted that out to another company that knew what they were doing. He might be able to cut your lawn but dont hire him to build anything. I just don't want any body else to throw away 20 grand to this guy like I did. Thanks for listing sincerely Shawn Connelly. I am willing to give my name because I stand behind what I say and I want Larry to see this and know who wrote this.

I appreciate that they designed it to look beautiful when it went in and would still look beautiful as the years passed. At my new house we started from scratch since the plants there were overgrown and no longer fit the house. Pinehurst helped create a design that kept the plants and trees that still worked and integrated new plantings to make things look fresh again. They have really good material and grow many of their own trees at their nursery. Highly recommend.

Ted Carter will come over, we will walk the area and discuss what needs to be done, then he sends a proposal, and we triage what is to be done and when. Several times we have gone to the nursery to pick out trees and plants. The few plants that have not survived a year are replaced at no charge. He drives us around in an off-road golf cart, and we can get ideas, and even pick the actual plants. If he doesn't have something in stock, he will get it. Ted has redesigned several areas, with an eye to continued visual interest throughout the year. He is readily accessible via text, phone, or email. The workers who come out are pleasant, hardworking and always leave the place immaculate. They have also relaid a bluestone patio that was settling unevenly, and repaired stonework for a fraction of what the mason who did the work quoted. If they come to weed when we are out of town or unavailable, and miss something, a call or email and they come out and deal with it. The office workers are always polite and friendly. After discussion, they send a out a detailed proposal with break down of pricing in the spring, which we amend and return. Rather than paying a big chunk of money up front, or paying monthly, their policy is to bill as work is done, so one knows what to expect and when, and you can be sure you are satisfied before you send a check, or call with your credit card information. We have been nothing but pleased.
