She too fell in love with Amboise, La Cave and Summer. Needless to say, we drank wine and talked for hours. In 2018, I decided to propose to my girlfriend and I wanted it to be in Amboise. With the help of Summer and Louisa, it was the most amazing proposal at Chateau Montdomaine. Summer and Louisa went above and beyond. I have been back to the Amboise several times and always stop by La Cave where I am greeted like family with hugs and wine!!! I even got to help decorate the shop for Christmas last year. In summary, if you want to feel at home, try some great wine (make sure you take some home) and make some friends, definitely stop by La Cave!!!!

I could only eat half of the lasagna, so they plastic-wrapped the rest and gave it to me in a huge box. The tiramisu was okay and topped with lots of strawberries. The service was good and I enjoyed sitting outdoors. I'm not sure why I ate here instead of a French restaurant, especially since I had just come from visiting Italy. I probably wouldn't go back--I'd try one of the many other restaurants that Blois has to offer.
