We were overwhelmed in the first 24 hrs at home with the chewing and jumping and chasing the cats. Walking her only seemed to make her behavior worse. I was very impressed with the male Doberman who's litter that was due and wanted to purchase a female puppy from that litter. I was asked to put down a deposit down which I did and we agreed on a set price. I then get a call from Bill telling me that he was thinking about keeping the female that I had already put the deposit down. He told me that if I gave an additional $1,500 on top of the already agreed price then he would sell her to me. I originally told him no and would like my deposit back. He then told me that I would lose the deposit, which is basically criminal because he changed the terms that were agreed on and felt he was basically stealing my deposit. I went ahead with the purchase and paid an additional $1500 on top of the original price that we agreed on. At this point I felt I had no choice, he was basically shaking me down for an additional $1500. What makes the whole matter even worse is that the female puppy that I purchased was from an entirely different litter and not from the Male stud that was behind my whole motivation for my purchase. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a breeder. This is 100% a true testimony of what happened. What he did was so disgusting, dishonest, down right criminal and he should be ashamed of himself. I do not take any satisfaction in writing this review, but I feel that I have a duty to let people know of my experience with Bill and Whited K-9 services. Anyone that is thinking of dealing with Bill & Whited K-9 services DO NOT, walk away and find a more reputable and responsible breeder. Thai may be pricey, but in my experience, it was worth every penny because the alternative would be suffering for 14-15 years with a dog who doesn't listen. Jim and katie were fantastic trainers. She is a friendly, sweet pup, but she is a beast, and when she's excited she's 95 pounds of love that comes at you like a missile! She's now able to find "place" and calm down when people come in, and is so much easier to walk. Training isn't cheap- but it's so worth it! We are going to do some group training soon, and on Sundays you can rent out the entire center so your pup can play and enjoy the equipment. The staff is so wonderful and they just love the dogs. This groomer is the best groomer I have ever ever been to. The owners name is Colleen and she did a fantastic job with my heavily matted golden doodle. I told her upfront that I was aware that they were probably going to have to shave him down to nothing including his ears. Colleen assured me that this would be the last resort that she would give 100% effort to make sure she didn't have to shave him down. She took her time with my dog, was very kind and loving and patient with my dog. I could see how some people would get frustrated because he was heavily matted but she did not get frustrated and as a result got all the madding out and we did not have to shave my dog down. I highly recommend Colleen as a groomer
