This was a nice experience for first time painting!…read more The instructor was clear in French and English, and participants were mixed language and men and women. There was a "club" feeling generated, and the presence of the restaurant right next door, from which we could get our 2 drinks (with coupons provided by Life of Art's Lisa) and take them to the studio made the atmosphere very convivial and gave a chance for participants to meet one another before the painting started. The painting I did wasn't the best but I was happy to give it a try and to see how others did too. Next time I hope to do better! I can recommend this experience to anyone who likes to find a new outlet for fun and some learning, and to meet some nice people.

The place is trendy and laid back. There weren't a lot of menu items but enough for a small cafe. We came in on a Monday so no brunch options but we did get some pancakes and drinks. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and not too heavy or sweet. They looked pretty small but did fill us up quickly! I am curious to try their other brunch menus so maybe I will revisit if I'm in Lausanne again.
