I would call this a pretty basic place to swing into for lunch while touring. Menu is ordinary. Service is good enough. Food is tasty but not outstanding. For those American's touring, it is like a French version of a Denny's or I'Hop or Bob Evans. Fits the need to satisfy hunger and doesn't offend. The greatest attribute of this restaurant is being able to see Mont Saint Michel clearly out the window as you eat lunch. That alone gives it a good 3 rating. read more

Very basic, limited offerings and simply not good. Very dry galettes. The orange juice delivered in a Minute Maid can without a glass. Stick with the crepes (better). Three stars because it has a clean restroom and is close to our final destination (Le Mont Saint-Michel) read more

This place hit the spot after a long day at Mont Sainte Michelle. It has a family run vibe, not like the touristy places you'll find in Mont Sainte Michelle itself. It's not fine dining but it is a good place to stop with friendly staff, a very local vibe and good food, and it has my recommendation if you're on your way home and you want somewhere friendly, affordable, and unpretentious to stop. read more

Unremarkable We stopped in for lunch on the way to visit Mont Saint Michel. The food wasn't remarkable - we just ordered a couple of basic plates from the menu (no moules available). Even though the restaurant was very busy - the food came out quite quickly and the prices were quite reasonable. read more

Stopped into this family run roadside quick eatery for a bite after walking around Mont Saint Michel for the day and found the place hid the spot. I ordered the spicy sausage (made fresh from local livestock) and a coffee and within a couple minutes my food was ready for me to enjoy. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. If you're on the road and want to stop for a bit to enjoy a relaxing country experience, maybe even with a glass of cider, and swing on into L'Archange. I'm happy I did. Oh and don't forget to check out the chickens out back. read more

Not only did this delightful cafe produce a sugar crepe at a bargain price (€1.50) it was…read moregenerously portioned and deliciously tasting. Their coffees were pretty good too. This place did something a few others did with our cappuccino order (but not the latte) and topped it with a generous splurge of chantilly cream. This was a real treat. Another nice touch is that you get a small chocolate based sweet in a tiny wrapper with each coffee. The staff were courteous and welcoming. It's a busy port town and they have huge big windows for people gazing. The seating was comfortable. The toilets clean and tidy. It's on a corner in one of the main streets of the town about a less than 10 minute walk from the Christian Dior museum (adult entry €8) and the same from the wonderful harbour.
