You can't got past their potato rosti. The deserts are superb and are guilt free. Although this eatery caters for vegan/gluten intolerant people (in which I am not) doesn't mean it's scream boring. I have to be honest, I've had what I thought was some pretty good kanafeh before, but enter The bearded bakers and their cool set up. Selling love, entertainment, laugh and some damn good kanafehs, and I am in love. Delicious and delicate, and just the right serving size. They probably cost a couple dollars more than what you would get at the pastry shop but well worth the trip and extra change. If you haven't seen them in action, I strongly recommend you make a night out of it. Grab some friends and go out for some kanafehs and mint tea and have a laugh and dance with these guys. Currently at Preston market on weekend ( evening), but I believe these guys are Sydney based and probably are not gonna be there for long.
