Warren and the shop fixed my 2002 Jetta GLS that belonged to my brother who passed away. He called her "Roxy" after the night at the Roxbury. The car is very special to my family and I. So that being said, I wouldn't want just anyone working on this car. He checked in periodically and made sure I was aware of the process providing me peace that "Roxy" was in good hands. Great company and well worth the money spent to keep the car in my family. Grateful for these guys! Please look for them for your VW needs! Highly recommended and a highly deserved recommendation. Keep up the great work L and T. read more

I have purchased several parts from them for my mkiv gli. They're knowledgeable and have always gotten me the right part the first time. If they didn't have a part they came up with something similar to try. Highly recommend them, save yourself the trouble of pulling the part yourself. read more

I am so glad I have found a great reliable mechanic at this family run VW and Volvo shop. From the small to the very large needs I have had, they have been excellent. For e they have helped me bring my 2006 Beetle convertible back to life for much more life on the road. read more

They are absolutely wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable about Volkswagens! I would recommend them to everyone!

Not sure where some of these bad ratings are coming from? I brought my daughters VW here as it needed a new Sunroof and tires. A local dealer wanted to charge me $6500 for the Sunroom and $1200 for tires. Lenny and guys fixed the Sunroof for $3100 and new tires for $800. Will only bring my VW to L&T! read more

If you're cool with them holding your car for ridiculously extensive periods with no results this is the place for you! Dropped off my car Sunday morning and planned to pick it up Thursday evening when I got home from my vacation. Called up Thursday and said it just needs to be test driven - tried to pick it up the next day and their secretary who is clearly clueless tells me it still needs to be worked on. All this time I was gone they could've worked on it, it's not even like it was a laborious job I just needed my AC recharged .... terrible service they obviously aren't concerned with their customers or their needs considering now I won't have a car to go to work tomorrow. Don't waste your time at this junky place please take my word for it. read more

Lenny is amazing he fixed my car door for me and it was a third of the cost everyone else estimated just to crack the door open. He goes above and beyond to make sure you car is fixed and ready. read more

I can't say enough how awesome l and t auto is been coming here since I started driving Volkswagen and haven't had a problem or issue they couldn't fix or help me work through read more

if you want used parts and no accountability for the work they do, this is the place for you. I was referred here by my normal garage because he would not work on my Audi (honestly can't blame him they suck to work on). I called them 3 times before they called me back (that was mistake number 1). I told them exactly what I wanted fixed and what I didn't. i was given the estimate and scheduled the repair as I just didn't have time to do the work myself. They never told me they would be replacing parts with used parts (never would have agreed to that). Was told it would 2 days. That was not the case but hey crap happens so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I picked my car up and the check engine light came on, on the way home. I called them back was told I refuse the work for that problem. I had my BF called cause I was to pissed to deal. He was told I was a hard person to deal with (because I knew what I was talking about ). Anyways took it back they "fixed" the problem still don't know what "the problem" was. Fast forward 7 mo and one of the reasons I took it in for (underboost of the turbo) valve is bad. I called and asked if there was a warranty which I was told no. But they could put a used one back in. WTH no I don't want used and expect the work to be guaranteed it's not my fault they used bad parts. Guess I'll be doing the work myself again. I can at least guarantee you'll be done correctly read more

My car kept dying while driving. Then wouldn't start period. Put a new battery in. No luck . Had it towed to L&T auto on Airport Rd. They told me there were numerous things that needed fixing. $ 1,150 . They did the work. Went to pick it up, it wouldn't start at their shop! Was told he put in a USED battery, and he" didn't know how long it would last." What???!! So we waited while he put in a supposedly new one- for which he charged me additionally. Got it home. Only driven a few miles since, but started up every 2 or days. Now won't start, battery won't charge. They are taking no responsibility for it! They were also very unprofessional, and shady. I since took it to another mechanic who checked all the repairs/ replacements L&T said they did. This mechanic said they had not fixed it st all! I would suggest you STAY AWAY. read more

Reason I don't drive VW anymore is because of Lenny and L & T. They hold your car hostage and Lenny becomes arrogant when asked when you can expect your car. read more

I found this place through the NPR Click n Clack website, and we've used L&T twice now for repairs on our VW. They have been really great and fixed everything and we haven't had problems since. It's hard to find car repair places you can trust, especially when working with European autos, but I like these guys. Plus, when I went to pick up the car, they were working on Mario Andretti's dunebuggy! Pretty cool. read more

NEVER GO HERE! CROOKS! They had my car for nine months out of 2 years, paid them 3400 dollars. Come to find out, they never put in my upgraded ko4 turbo back in, they gave me a stock ko3 one!! Where the fuck is my turbo???!!! No reason to believe it wasnt my turbo but I had to replace power steering pump, all the belts etc so I took my front end off and that's when I noticed that my ko4 turbo was never put back in, they gave me a ko3. There is so much more that's happened but this was the final straw. I have never dealt with such dishonest thieves. If you're not car savvy these jokers can and will do a number on you. Their "business" should be shut down! Shame on you Lenny! SHAME ON YOU! I cant believe no one has sued the pants off of you yet! read more

Extremely rude, poor customer service! Called to ask if I needed an appointment for an estimate, was told to drop my car off the following monday night, and they would look at it on tuesday and give me a call. Called back on Wednesday, because no one ever called me on tuesday, was told the estimate wasn't ready yet,to call back friday. Called friday, and Lenny said there was still no estimate, then when I asked when he would have the estimate for me,he said that If I was gonna scream at him,I could just go and pick up my car. At no given moment did I even raise my voice,so I told him I wasn't screaming at him,I was asking him a question. He said he had no idea when he would have the estimate, that I was better off picking up my car. Never heard of a car business where you drop your vehicle off for an estimate with no expectation of a date to receive the estimate. If he was too busy,he should've told me before I brought my car in,and wasted a whole week when I could have taken it to a serious business where they value their costumers independently of being busy or not. My neighbor had advised me to take it to DAKU'S,now I regret I didn't listen to her,I feel like I was treated as if they were doing charity,as if I was asking for something for free... worst feeling ever! But L&T can be certain I will never do business with them again, and whenever I have the chance,I will share the very unpleasant experience I had with them. read more

I highly recommend Lenny at L&T enterprize. He is the savant of Volkswagens!!! We took ours to two different places and they both said looks like you need a new transmission. Then there was Lenny the savant who found the problem which was not in the transmission at all and it only cost 142 to fix a heck of a lot better than the 4200 we almost spent!!!! As long as we own a Volkswagen or an Audi we will be going to him! Thanks Lenny at L&T I am going to recommend you to everyone!!! You rock!!! read more

Purchased a GTi and talked price down $300 and it made them furious. Took car back for "warranty repair" and they broke windshield, which I noticed 5 miles down the road. Tried to discuss resolution and owners became belligerent. read more

DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE CLOWNS!!!!! YOU WILL BE THROWING IT AWAY AND RISKING YOUR SAFETY ON THE RECKLESSLY POOR WORK DONE BY THESE SO CALLED MECHANICS. They had my car for 2 weeks doing work that could've been done in less than 1 week. They returned my car to me with a brand new stripped wheel bearing nut which had the whole wheel about to fall right off of the car, COULD EASILY HAVE KILLED ME AND MY CHILDREN, a brand new bad tie rod end, brand new squealing breaks, and brand new vacuum hose that leaks. (I could list more issues but will spare you all the details) Then go ahead and add TOP DOLLAR for pitiful work, lack of accountability, ZERO quality control, up-selling you things you don't need, and terrible customer service, it makes it the perfect experience from HELL. Jim will LIE to you and ignore your requests. Lenny (the owner) won't even take the time to talk to you if there is a serious and persistent problem, and Warren (the owners son) will ignore your request for him to see to it that the work gets done properly. LONG STORY SHORT, L&T STOLE $2500 FROM ME AND PUT ME IN A CAR THAT WAS NOT FIT TO BE DRIVEN. read more
