We became nervous once it was 5 minutes late and I came inside to call and make sure we weren't forgotten. Found a message that the ride had been cancelled. They called 10 minutes before scheduled pick-up. Luckily, Brant Taxi was kind enough to fit us into their busy morning and get us to the hospital just in time. Booked with this company once - and that will be all…read more One of the employees came to the Toronto Airport and was sent from one desk to another before being told his confirmation number wasn't good enough. The customer service got in touch with him to direct him to their desk to meet the driver (one of the desks he had already been at previously). The woman was rude to him over the phone. She then called me to say that he went to the wrong desk when that was not the case. At this point, he was upset and decided to have someone pick him up instead of using their service. She immediately told me there would be no refund because their driver was waiting there for 3 hours - their driver got their 3 hours before his flight landed, and they knew the time his flight landed, so I don't know why they were waiting there so early and why that seemed to be my fault. Overall, will not use this service again. They're nice, until they have your money. Then you're out of luck!

I have been taking city taxi for over 10 years and personally really like many of there drivers …read more. but recently as they got new drivers apparently don't know how to work there meters since one tried to charge me 19 dollars for a short ride that would normally cost 9 dollars another with a different driver missed my turn onto my street and had to go a few blocks turn around and turn onto my street and did not even turn the meter off as it was his mistake both times I complained to the company with no result also I been told multiple time they do not accept debit by a few different drivers when that is not the case as its all over there website and cars . after looking at all happened I noticed all the drivers I had bad experiences with had been east Indian .. now I would like to make this clear I have nothing against these ppl at all I pride myself on thinking of everyone the same and do but to avoid any more problems and keep taking the taxi's I did like I had asked for a not east Indian driver to be sent when I called today and the person that answered the phone at the office call me a racist, hater and rude then hung up on me.. After receiving a notice that the package had "cleared government agency" (customs??) there were repeated requests made of the recipient to email confidential information (Social security number, passport number, green card, etc.) to a "broker." Tracking information indicates that broker tried to reach sender (no phone call, e-mail or text was received by me). After repeated requests to return package to me it was returned (spent 16 days in Michigan when it was to have been delivered to NC in 3 days). I was advised to personally see manager at the store where he refused to provide acceptable explanation, refused any refund (in part of whole - over 100.00 spent) , flapped his arms around, ran around the store demanding that I leave. I believed he was actually going to strike me. And yes.... I did have a few choice words I shared with him. Great customer service! Avoid at all costs.
