It is like a bunch of rookies are running this mortuary. My sister's ashes showed up at my house…read moreyesterday, and I live in Michigan. I had to send the ashes to the intended destination, a funeral home In Youngstown, OH. The post office rep said that they did not ship them properly. I reused their shipping container, and our U.S.P.S. rep placed 2 cremains labels on the box, and charged me $48. This business paid the U.S.P.S. $28 to ship the cremains to me, with no return address on the shipping container. The paperwork inside said the ashes were from my sister, but where they really? When I called to complain, Rebekah was speechless. She certainly was vocal when she took my credit card number for the cremation. Rebekah was flummoxed using DocuSign for the legal paperwork, even though the DocuSign website was satisfied on how I signed and uploaded the documents. I confirmed the signed documents uploaded. Rebekah called and wanted me to redo the process. I told her to keep scrolling down on the document to find the signed copy. At this point in time, I am waiting for 10 death certificates. 1 is to go to my Grass Valley attorney, and 9 are supposed to be mailed to me in Michigan. I have told them TWICE of my wishes. I have NO confidence that they will follow my wishes. I have to travel to Grass Valley next month, and if they don't get this final task done, as I requested, I WILL be making a visit to the Chapel. They really should refund my $48 postage expense to correct THEIR mistake, but Rebekah was speechless, as I stated earlier. To repeat, I told her, and another person, and it was in the contract, that the ashes were going to our hometown for final disposition. I would NOT use their services again. P.S. My sister's ashes sat on the front porch for 3 hours before my daughter and wife noticed the box. Thank God our neighborhood does not have trouble with porch pirates. P.P.S. The owner of the Mortuary called me and apologized for the error made in shipping my sister's remain from California to Ohio. He said he would reimburse me for the postage. Rebekah called to tell me that the check is in the mail. She also called to confirm that my lawyer and I received the death certificates. They did, and they were distributed as I requested.

They actually came out today, Thursday, and everything is repaired and working. I upgraded to 3 stars because they did do what they said they would do it only took almost 8 weeks with no communication about the part, if it had been ordered or when they anticipated having the repair done. I get it about supply chains and delays but a couple phone calls from Bob would have negated my initial negative review.

Dear Chelsea, I…read morewanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for everything you did for our family during such a difficult time. Your respect, professionalism, and compassion truly meant more to us than words can express. Because we do not live in town, coordinating everything through text messages, phone calls, and emails could have been overwhelming. However, you made the entire process smooth and manageable. Your responsiveness and willingness to take care of every detail eased a great deal of stress for our family. I especially want to thank you for helping calm a very challenging situation. Emotions were understandably high, and when my aunt repeatedly insisted on making announcements about her husband's funeral services scheduled for the following day, it became distressing for our family. We felt strongly that this time was meant to honor my father-in-law, and your calm, respectful assistance in helping address the situation made a meaningful difference. Your presence helped keep the focus where it belonged and restored a sense of peace and order. Additionally, when there were family members behaving rudely or out of place, you handled those moments with remarkable professionalism, kindness, and care. The way you spoke with them privately and compassionately did not go unnoticed and was deeply appreciated. Your ability to remain patient, composed, and genuinely caring throughout everything brought comfort to our family during an emotional time. We are truly grateful for your dedication and support. Thank you again for everything you did for us. Ullrey Memorial Chapel is fortunate to have someone as compassionate and professional as you. With sincere appreciation, RMAERN

I have taken a little time off of Yelp as I have been going about my normal day to day routine and…read morehaven't truly done much NEW. But let me set the scenario! I had to go to one of my Rental properties up North in Lincoln CA, that I hadn't been to personally in about 10 years and there were some THINGS that had been, lets say unattended to. So as Landlord'ism goes I packed and stacked and discovered items tenants had left as well as got the yard back to my personal standards. Needless to say at the end of the weekend I had things I needed hauled away and disposed of! So I turn to my friends on yelp for "Dump Services" and all my fellow yelpers said Sanchez Home and Yard Services was incredible. Mind you it is Sunday at around 10:00am. I give the crew a call. I am mentally prepared for them to tell me "Dude its Sunday" or not to even answer at all. TO MY SURPRISE I get an answer from Mr. Felix himself. He asks me what I need and lets me know he will be at my place between 2-3pm (ON A SUNDAY LAST MINUTE CALL). OK so I'm impressed ... SO FAR... Time goes by as I continue getting bags loaded with trash and the like, I look at the time and its about 1pm.. I needed to take a quick run to Home Depot thinking "These guys will definitely show up at close to 3pm" THEN I get a call at 1:45 from Felix stating they were there at my home and ready! 15 minutes early, For the win! I get there and I notice 2 Truck Ready for action now I'm like WHOA These guys aren't F'n around! Felix gets out of his truck, greets me and asks what/where the job is. I show him and BOOM! He lets me know the price, tells me he has 4 guys and ensures me this job will be quick! These guys get the trucks in place set up cones in the streets and are running into position like soldiers on the beach of Normandy! I mean when was the last time you were excited and complimentary of the cleanup crew. HOWEVER Felix and his team are much more than a clean up crew..... THESE GUYS ARE A PROFESSIONAL GRADE Service ! I kid you not!!! So they get the Job DONE, they suggest things that I should keep (That I would have just tossed in my frantic state of trying to get things done) AND THEN after everything is done I look back and Mr. Felix himself has a yard blower blowing out the garage!!! WHAT ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! (I will add pics) This is over the top like I'm not exaggerating, Im not hard to please but I'm also not easily overly impressed but these professionals are the real deal. They obviously have many talents but if they perform all of their other services even a quarter of what they did for me on this job YOU WILL BE IN EXCELLENT HANDS! BOTTOM LINE..... HIRE THESE GUYS FOR ANY AND ALL THEIR SERVICES. THANKS FELIX and CREW, -Jay
