Look no further this company is SPECTACULAR (but take this with a grain of salt since I've only…read moreused this company twice at the time I am writing this review)! I am always apprehensive to work with a new company when it comes to the design of my own home. John James Painters quelled all of my fears. The free consultation was the best. I was initially very worried but as they were answering my questions one at a time, my stress alleviated. This company did a fantastic job on painting the walls of my kitchen and dining room. The quality of work for these local painters was excellent compared to some painters I have used in the past. This team was very pleasant to have in my home and worked with me and my weird schedule. For relatively cheap painters (ask for quote on price by the way), I was surprised by the degree of excellence this team meticulously checked their work. These painters did a great job working around my thick shutters while still getting clean lines. I recommend John James Painters to all of my friends and anyone in the greater Chicago area. I will be coming back for any paint needs in the future!

It took me a while trying to find the right people for the job, I was a bit hesitant because it was such a big job and I wanted to go with the right guys and get the best deals. In the end, I chose these guys because they are truly pro painters. They were extremely professional throughout the whole process, and made sure everything they did was okay with me before they did it. For my home office, these guys surpassed any quality that I've seen other office painters do.   I seriously feel like the house is a completely new place. I highly recommend this group of pro painters to anyone looking for a high quality upgrade to various parts of their home. These guys are seriously titan painters. I can't wait to call them up for the next thing I have to get done. You won't go wrong with these guys! I've told all of my friends about them already. The price that they gave me was great as well. Great deal all around! You can also contact them to get a quote on the price for your specific dimensions.o

Project completed: 7/29/2024…read more Highlight of my project: 1. Satisfied price. 2. Estimated to finish in 3 days by different painters but they actually finished in 2 days and maintained the good quality of work. I seldom write reviews. However, Best Homes Construction's professional services and good quality of work deserve me to take my time to write this review. It is a small business which needs more customers' reviews to support them and reflect their good works. Initially, I had my estimate request to another company but Yelp, automatically, sent the estimate requests to a few other companies as well. Best Homes Construction was one of them. Based on the price, the details shown on the estimate, communication response and the professional manner of the staff I met, I decided to hire Best Homes Construction/Best Homes Painting for my painting project. Response: 1. During this project, Henry always responded to me in a timely and professional manner. 2. The estimate was provided on the same day after the company's visit. Estimate: 1. Before setting up the appointment for the on-site estimate, I was provided a price range. 2. Henry and his staff arrived in uniform on time and with their professional manner. 3. The estimate was emailed in details. It contained the breakdowns of the estimate, forms of payment, daily work hours, etc. 4. The estimate did not include the paint but there're options for customers to choose. The customers could buy the paint themselves or the company can buy for them with an additional service charge. If the customers buy their own paints, the company would provide a list of what is needed. 5. The estimate of my project was out of the price range. However, Henry took initiation to give me a discount to match with the price range. Painters: 1. Rolando and Richard were always in their professional and respectful manner. 2. The quality of their work was great. 3. They took action immediately to meet my request. That's a great customer service. 4. I could tell they have spent so much effort in wrapping up this project. That's beyond the 5 stars. Overall, I was very happy with the result. Thank Henry, Rolando and Richard for the great work and effort! Please keep it up! When I got my receipt, I was told that the company also does floor, bath and kitchen remodeling besides painting. That's very nice to know about it.

DO NOT HIRE THEM I…read morehad an insurance claim on my home and hired them to do the work. It included drywall work, paining, installing tile floor, and also finishing my basement. I can tell you that Their painting job is not professional. There's multiple areas where they missed painting or didn't paint at all. The drywall work needed additional sanding and refinishing. The tile floor had to be torn out and redone due to tiles popping out. The drop ceiling in the basement needed redone because it wasn't level and had no supports in it. The work was beyond terrible. Now onto the employees. Mike and Laura are the "owners" who I dealt with. Mike and his guys never showed up when they said they would and left whenever they wanted because they said Mike didn't pay them enough. The employees stole my alcohol, all of it. They stole food and last but not least they stole my tools. I would also catch the workers using my tools to do the job and ask why and they would tell me because they didn't have it. I had to help finish jobs for these guys because they couldn't "get it." They agreed to paint my banister and then tried to get another $500 out of me but I refused and they agreed to paint it for the original amount. They continued to try and change prices on scope of work mid job. I finally had the last of it and fired them when I found an employee had been urinating in a one gallon jug in my basement instead of using the restroom that was up the stairs. Mike made excuses that one of his guys had a drinking problem and he did pay me back for the stolen alcohol but not my tools. Some times no one would even show up to work on a certain day and I would call and mike nor Laura would know what's going on. Don't make the same mistake I did.
