My husband and I bought a house and quickly learned we needed some kind of sound/privacy barrier…read morebetween us and our neighbor. We put out project proposals on Yelp twice to be ghosted by professionals. On the second project proposal, I received a swift response from Tom. He offered to come by my house later that week to discuss solutions and provide an estimate. When Tom and his partner, Taren visited, they spent a good amount of time discussing solutions with me. We collectively came up with an idea to use lumber that had been sitting on our property to build a wall. Tom and Taren had put more thought into the solution and called me later to suggest they build a fence with new, pressure-treated wood instead. Tom reasoned that it would last longer than the wood that had been sitting on our property for two years, and it would be significantly cheaper. I highly appreciated the foresight and honesty despite it being a cheaper option. We agreed to the plan and they built the fence Wednesday the next week. They even curved it to help with noise reduction and ensured it was level despite our uneven terrain! I am blown away by Tom and Taren's commitment to their craft and their clients. They fit us in quickly and did a wonderful job building us a beautiful fence! They even care about the small details of client interactions. For example, Tom sent photos and videos of my completed fence while I was at work, and he recommended his favorite wood stain brand to protect my fence from the elements and carpenter bees. I look forward to future business opportunities I can provide to Natural Impressions!

Woodland Outdoor - Another great shot

Very disappointed with my fence install. 50% deposit held for six months and good faith payments…read moremade during the install at the insistence of the owner. They would not refund my deposit at the four month mark. My patience and willingness to work with them led to shoddy workmanship using the cheapest materials possible. The fence does not even enclose the yard as agreed and discussed. Who would wants a partially enclosed yard, particularly with two dogs on a busy street? The work was not at all prioritized nor supervised by the owner or her spouse, leading to uneven areas, gaps my dog could fit through, uneven pickets, pickets spaced as wide as physically possible, an area of grass killed off, hinges/locks installed backwards, fence pieces dragging and uneven, hinges not aligned, etc. My complaints about the very poor quality of work led to threats by the owners husband to remove the fence that was 75% paid for and numerous back-to-back calls where he cursed and yelled. They demanded the remaining balance for the day the job was done while I was at work, though I had not seen it nor had they inspected the work and it was not actually completed. A few tweaks were done once they finally looked at their staffs blunders, but the fence is still poorly built and I have an area with orange plastic fencing where they would not enclose it. Woodland drastically failed to provide a product or level of customer service that rises to their advertised high standards. Please use more caution than I did when deciding who will do work for you and be on your property. Ask who's doing the work and look up their credentials. I've been repairing my fence since it was installed and my dogs are no safer from the busy road then when I did not have a fence. Safety for my dogs was the reason I ended up wasting tens of thousands of dollars. Once you pay, you'll need to hope they stand by the work and treat you with human respect. I was hesitant for many months to post a review for fear of retribution based on the threats I received, but it is vital to hold this company accountable for their lack of quality and service

Chesbay Landscaping - A new EP Henry retaining wall replace an older dilapidated wood wall

I contacted Chesbay about removing a tree that I thought needed to be removed. They came over and…read moregave a very well priced estimate of what the job would cost which included stump grinding. They started the job in the middle of March and stated this would be a 2 week process. It turned into a 2 month process and they didnt finish until the middle of May. They were delayed when they dropped a branch on the power line and it was on the ground. This was a big safety hazard and they had to wait for the power company to make it safe again. They also wouldnt work in the rain....until the last week when it was raining every day and they still would work to finally finish the job Here's where things really went wrong. I was asked if I wanted some of the wood for whatever. I said sure, if you can make it manageable. One of the workers put his chainsaw blade up to some of the tree that was which I said was perfect. They asked me how much of the wood I wanted, I stated, all if it if its manageable. Jimmy, who I think is the owner comes by and says the job is complete. They had left these huge chunks on the lawn, which was destroyed, and when he comes over for the final payment, I asked him, what am I gonna do with this. I cant move this. He said he could move it for price. In the contract we had, it stated they would clean up. Check the pictures posted below and let me know if that would fill the bill. Jimmy stated, "I have people saying you wanted all of the wood." I told him I do if it was manageable. Jimmy then said, "I have someone who can come over and split this up for you and I'll get back to you by the end of the week." He never got back to me. I made several calls maybe 15, of only 1 which was returned. This process of cleaning up to see what was left has taken me 7 months to clean up what I can. The tree stump grinding wasnt finished either. Its still above ground over most of where the tree was and part of it is still sticking up another foot above ground. It also looked like they were in the process of cutting the wood up and were told to leave it alone. Several pieces were cut around 20 inches but not all the way through. If they couldnt do what was promised, they should at least notify me and I could have made that choice to where to take it away or leave it but when Jimmy told me he could get someone to come and split the wood, I would have taken the wood. If he had been upfront, it would have been, take it away. 3 people cant even budge several of what was left. I shouldnt have ever given the 2nd check as the job wasnt finished. Thats a my mistake. I trust people at their word. If you do work with them, make sure its 100% finished or you will get ghosted like myself
