Within the first 10 minutes I had someone yelling in my face that it'll be a few minute before a filter would be put on to the pedicure spa bath. Also the water was cold and the chair was uncomfortable but i think it just needed to be adjusted. Can't say I didn't stay long enough lol. This was my first impression of this place.. This was my first time trying LA Nails and I was not disappointed. My nail tech was Gan and she was great! She was personable, where we had some conversations, and she was very professional and accommodating. I let her know that my nails are very sensitive and the drill that she started with, was a little too heavy for my nails. She accommodated me, and got a drill that was much lighter. Three times and she could not get my polish color right before I even sat down at a chair. They have no remover for gel polish other than the eletric tool, which I did not want used on my nails. I was visiting family for the holiday and wanted to have a mani/pedi. This place came up in my YELP search. I called and the person who answered was able to accommodate myself and 3 children quickly. We were greeted walking in and shown a decent selection of polish to choose from. The pedicure room was clean and there were a lot of chairs and even a butterfly chair for kids! The pedicure room was very soothing with the lighting and the massage chairs were nice. The whole staff was very nice and accommodating. There was a menu to show services available and even a chart for nail shape selection. Overall it was a great experience and when I am in the area next time I will stop for a visit. read more

I will NEVER go to this place again. It was my first and last time. After waiting 45 mins to get my nails done, I was finally told by an employee that it would be another 30 mins because they were short on staff. But 35 mins into me waiting, someone else walked in and got helped BEFORE me because the "had an appointment " but no where on their website does it say to make an appointment. I wasted almost a hour waiting and did not get any help. They could have told me when I walked in that they were short and it was going to be a long wait. I have never left a bad review before now. I went here for the first time with hopes that I would be going to a good nail salon but I must say, I was very disappointed. First of all, I was a new customer didn't want to get my nails done only my toes, but I allowed myself to be convinced to get them both done. It took a very long time but that's not the bad part. A had dip nail never before have I had the top coating come off my nail, later that night it came off. I went back up there the next day and instead of receiving. Oh, I'm sorry that this happened to you. Let's get this taken care of. It was only one nail I was told I'm the only one here sit down and wait but that wasn't true, finally a lady comes out someone says something in a language that I don't speak she looks at my nail and She just begins to scratch it down and apply polish but when she scratch it down and put the polish on, it's real bumpy and not smooth I explained that to her and even showed it to her, and she just threw her hands up and say oh someone else will fix it , so now I'm supposed to sit there and wait possibly another 30 minutes just for someone to fix one nail that should've been done correctly the first time around. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. They are very unprofessional while I was there getting my nails done. I heard profanity going back-and-forth in between them and it was just too much. I love this place. They are very spacious and also have a nice atmosphere. I have had nothing but great service since the first time I came over 5years ago. I live 30 minutes away and still drive out here to make sure I get the best treatment. I'm very funny about who touches my feet and my nails. They are very accommodating and very friendly. I've had nothing but great experiences with them. Thank you all for such great service. As far as their English I see no problem with them not understanding me and I'm from The deeeeep south. This is by far my worst experience. When I first arrived everyone was very friendly. Once I sat down the man who was doing my nails was very rude didn't even say hello, just rushed in to doing my nails. He was very aggressive, he cut my finger and I pulled my hand back and said "ow" and he didn't even say sorry. He was rushing with my nails and I could tell he messed up my middle nail and i ask him to fix it and all he did was file it. My friends had excellent people with them and they all saw how this man was. I received the no chip nail service Sunday. I returned Tuesday because my nails started peeling. The tech stated my nails were not dry. She re- did my nails. Thursday they started peeling again. This time, I did not return. This is not the first time I experienced peeling with their no chip polish/process, but I decided to give them another chance because they are less expensive than my regular salon. Thinking...
