I took two of my friends here for a birthday treat about a year ago. I called ahead and inquired…read moreabout their types of pedicures and how much they cost. They were priced pretty high for a pedicure but the girl on the phone raved about how wonderful their nail girls were and how amazing they were. I booked 3 appointments explaining it would be me and two friends for 2pm pedicures for the following week. I called the day before the confirm the appointments and double check the prices. When we arrived for our appointment they only had two nail techs and both were still busy with other customers (they had booked two 130 pedicures as well). It was about another half hour until the chairs opened up and our appointments were able to start. Irritated a little we still were excited about these so called "amazing" pedicures. The nail area left much to be desired, with the floors warped and the stations cluttered. The nail girls seemed very inexperienced and acted almost disgusted by giving pedicures. They didn't use any scrub (despite this being listed as part of the pedicure) and when my friend inquired about it she said she really didn't think they were necessary. The paraffin wax was WAY too hot and left us with a few little blisters. They didn put lotion on but didn't bother to wipe it off the nails before painting plus their polish choices were all either so old they were stringy or watered down and thin looking. They did an awful job painting our nails, me and one of the girls with me ended up removing the polish and repainting them ourselves when we got home. When I went to pay at the end I mentioned that we were a little dissatisfied and the rude lady at the desk basically said she wasn't interested. I decided to pay the bill and not return and she gave me a total $30.00 higher then what I'd been quoted. I explained which service we'd had and that I had inquired about the price twice by phone during the week. She simply told me sorry, the other girl must have given the wrong price and refused to lower it. I asked to speak to the manager and turns out that was her. Will not be back and have no problem telling others how horrible our experience was.

I should have known the quality of service I would receive when other nail spas in the area had…read morehour long waits and there was no wait here. But, I didn't want the wait...and how bad could it be anway? Let me tell you. First, they only have 1 pedicure station, maybe 2. The nail tech said she wanted to wash it out before we started. She over filled the tub and water and soap suds were all over the floor. Then, she dropped a bottle of nail polish on the floor next to me. It broke and I was covered in polish--my feet, shoes, legs, shorts, even on my face. She cleaned me up but I was cut from the glass and bleeding and she never even put gloves on. She asked me how much I paid for my shoes and I told her $30. She offered me $20, but never gave it to me. She still charged me full price, $40, for the mani/pedi. In my opinion, all or part of it should have been covered. I understand it was an accident but you still need to talk care of your customers. Third, The nail tech was nice enough, very sweet, but inexperienced. It was the worst manicure I ever received. I could have done a better job at home. Plus, the place is really dirty which I didn't realize until I was already committed. There were other people's nail clippings were all over the manicure table. Disgusting! I wish I would have walked out but I was trying to be a curteous customer. All in all, the experience was awful. The whole process probably took longer than had I waited the hour at one of the other nail spas in the immediate area. Next time, I will.
