FOOD & DRINKS I have been at this location a few times…read morealready. All I get here is the banh mi and maybe a Vietnamese avocado smoothie. My preferred option is the banh mi dac biet which is basically their special with pate and meat. The baguette they use for the banh mi unfortunately isn't really fresh. They only toast it for a few minutes and it turns up more on the softer side. If you are used to the Subway bread, this might be ok for you but a Vietnamese baguette should be fresh, very crispy on the outside and very fluffy on the inside. The veggies tasted fresh, the pate was ok but not exciting and the meat were a few cold fatty cuts of pork. In my opinion the veggies could have been pickled a bit more. They just tasted like ordinary fresh veggies. The avocado smoothie was nice. SERVICE The guy who took my order was very nice and friendly. Same goes for the two cute Vietnamese girls. I asked for some Vietnamese chili with my banh mi and while they skimped a bit on the chili, the guy was only worried that I couldn't take the heat. ATMOSPHERE This place is small but has a few tables and some seats at the window. I would say the building is quite old but they made the best to make it look fresh and trendy. Some corners and decoration items really need some cleaning though. RATING I wish I could give this place one more star. I really do but the execution of the key components for a banh mi are just not up there yet. I mean its fine if you really want to eat some Vietnamese banh mi but for someone who has eaten so many banh mi around the world, I just can't justify 4 stars at that price.

3.5 stars. Very casual hipster Vietnamese place. Had the…read moresummer rolls and the veggie soup. The summer rolls were okay, but nothing to rave about. The veggie soup was surprisingly good and perfect for this fall day. Might still come again to try the bahn mi.

Vietnamese Street Food is a solid spot for pho especially if you are looking for a good vegetarian…read moreoption. The vegetarian pho is flavorful comforting and well balanced making it an easy choice whether you are dining in or picking up to go. It holds up well for takeaway and still tastes fresh. The drink selection is also good. The salty lemonade stands out and is refreshing with a nice balance of savory and citrus flavors. The coffee is strong and satisfying which is great if you need a caffeine boost after your meal. One small downside is that limes cost extra which feels a bit unnecessary especially for pho where lime is usually expected. It is not a deal breaker but worth noting. Overall Vietnamese Street Food is a reliable choice for vegetarian pho good drinks and both dine in and pickup convenience.

Since I moved to Germany, it has been hard to find a nice authentic Asian restaurant. Most of the…read moreAsian restaurants are tailored to German taste, and for locals like me, they just taste funny and way too salty or creamy, most of the times. But, This Vietnam Street Food blew my mind away. Their pho & rice roll instantly brought me back to hot summer humid day in ho ching ming city. All of the dished we tried are very delicious and authentic. The services are super friendly and sweet. They will give you good recommendations also if you dont know what to order. We were in Dusseldorf for 3 nights and came for dinners in 2 nights straight because of the quality of the food! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

All-vegan Vietnamese cuisine, not particularly authentic but also not western or fusiony. I visited…read moreon a Monday evening and it was packed, which was great to see. They have about 10 "small" plates for €6.90 each and 10 "large" plates for €13.90 each. To start, I got the magic rolls, which come with tofu slices and soy sheets wrapped in seaweed, with some greens and edamame in a rich soy sauce-dominant marinade. This was super tasty, even if on the salty side, and came out in about 2 minutes. I got the pho chay for my main, which came out in about 10 minutes (after ordering). Now, I'm absolutely spoiled for top-quality vegan pho here I'm from (Vancouver, Canada), so I wasn't expecting much. Well, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the broth -- it has a nice five spice depth to it. I asked for their homemade chili oil to amp it up, which helped a lot. The pho comes with mixed veggies (broccoli, carrot, mushroom, zucchini, baby corn, and coriander), fried tofu, and medium-width rice nooodles. Not particular authentic but nicely done. Friendly, prompt service, reasonably priced and well-portioned. Definitely worth a stop when in Dusseldorf. I'd give this 3.5 if I could, but will round to 4 since I suspect it's pretty solid Vietnamese for Dusseldorf standards.

Loved the fresh veggies on almost all the dishes. The services was great helpful but not hovering. They were pretty busy but moving tables around nicely. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls is to die for. I'm sure we will be back before the end of our trip.
