    Funky Margarita Roll
    Alicia M.

Impeccable service, but very average sushi! It's not a bad thing, so Kyoto may still be worth giving a try. I had the Funky Margarita Roll and it was average...there really isn't much more to say. From reading the description, I expected a flavor explosion but the guacamole on top felt and tasted weird in my mouth. The other guest had the Beef Teriyaki. It was cooked fine (as far as texture and execution) but needed more seasoning overall. I'm glad that I finally got to try Kyoto 2 but don't think I'll be returning.

A really good sushi spot that is away from the city! We just happened to be passing by when we saw it and walked in without knowing anything. The servers were all really nice and accommodating. You get cold noodles when you sit down! We got the California roll, the dynamite roll, the sushi combination dinner and the mango seafood salad. It was a lot of food, but our favorite were the California roll and the mango seafood salad! The rolls are typical of any other sushi that you find in other places - there's nothing too special. But our favorite was the mango seafood salad. It has a sashimi and seaweed salad with mango and a ponzu sauce. It's honestly made to perfection and would recommend it 10/10! We went back five days later for the lunch menu and their lunch menu is really good too foe the price. We for the katsu don and the sushi lunch. Good amount for the price. Since I live near here, found a new sushi place to go to!

This was my go to sushi place. I used to frequent here all the time but due to covid, work, and customer service, I haven't been dining in for a while but still order to go. The food is delicious and the value is good. Customer service is a hit and miss therefore I mainly order to go now.

    Awesome Chirashi sushi dinner set

We went a bit early for dinner, but the kitchen staff has already started up and had everything ready to go. It is perfect time to get food quickly and this is Authentic Japanese food as we talked with the chef who came and talked to us in Japanese. It turns out I picked pretty damn good sashimi and sushi dinner (I asked the young waitress, of course). Just look at the chirashi sushi dinner set! It's got more sashimi than I ever expected. A lot more and the price was totally worth it. This place is definitely worth stopping.

Close enough to the Elmwood Shopping Center to be a great place, yet just far enough away to not be too crowded, this is located in a small strip mall that has plenty of parking. The staff are friendly, you are greeted promptly when you come in. They have a large menu to choose from. I ordered my usual sushi items and was surprised at how large the rolls were. I could not finish it all. The crab rangoons were fresh and delicious. Every thing was clean inside, as were the restrooms. They were so busy buy nothing fell thru the cracks at all.

One of the many food stops while I was there visiting my bro from medical school at Louisiana. This high class sushi diner did not disappoint. BUT, since it has been more than 2 years I don't really remember the names of the pictured dishes. But we definitely left with a full stomach and a happy mood.

You have to be patient because they have a system on taking your order to make sure the cook is ready. You will probably have to wait in line for about 15 minutes depending on how busy it is the place only sits about 25 people. It's normal diner food. If you're in the area, you should try it. The Camellia grill is something you should experience at least once but we probably wouldn't go back often because the food wasn't spectacular, but it was good, but the wait wasn't worth our experience for us and it's kind of cramped in there. I kept getting elbowed and I was elbowing the person next to me. We did meet some regulars they say they always come in for the pie. I think it's better for lunch, they have breakfasts, and they give large portions. If you're looking for the classic local diner experience, this is it. The prices were really good. The place has classic Diner decor with history of the area and the diner, which was fun to look at. I want to say that I had the hamburger steak and fries with gravy and mashed potatoes and green beans, it's definitely comfort food, I was in a happy place so I say if you want to be in a happy place and go back to when you were a kid when grandma or mom cooked you a meal this is what you get here.

This past week we visited and we could both tell right away things were different. The inside of the restaurant was filthy and I mean filthy. You could see the floor under the bar and in the kitchen hadn't been cleaned in months. The fryers hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Everything just looked dirty and like no effort is put into cleaning and maintenance. We decided to eat anyway which was a mistake. We love their burgers that are cooked and steamed old school. We both ordered one. My wife ordered hers with bacon, which they charge over 3 bucks for. We both ordered our burger dressed with all the fixings. When my wife's burger came out it had no bacon and no fixings. I told the waiter and he said he would handled it. He never did as he started doing other orders. My burger had no flavor and it looked like the person that made it didn't care , which goes along with the restaurant cleanness. One thing that really turned us off was the was other guest were treated by staff. The "cook" was completely pissed off and had a horrible attitude. A group came in looking for a table and there wasn't room. He yelled at them that there wasn't room. They stood in the entrance area for a few moments and then he yelled at them that they needed to get out of the restaurant and wait outside. He told them this isn't a restroom so don't wait in line. The attitude and distain in his voice was overwhelming. A few minutes later a couple came in and found 2 seats at the bar. They decided to order food to go and was talking to the waiter. One of the 2 people ordering was standing behind the empty bar seat while they ordered. The cook yelled at this person that they needed to sit down. Both customers were stunned. The waiter told the cook they were making an order to go and the cook could be heard muttering under his breath. This little guy was nothing but attitude and seemed extremely pissed off the there. Maybe instead of being the restaurant traffic cop and total smart ass he should concentrate on getting orders straight since ours was screwed up and never fixed. Whatever charm this place had is gone along with the any effort to keep it up to clean standards.

I was in New Orleans for the 2026 Jazz and Heritage Festival, so my mornings were my own. I travel alone and don't always look for reservations when planning on a meal in this city. Streetcar Café is a perfect choice for what I was looking for: ample breakfast choices, a full bar, and excellent service by Andres. I ordered two poached eggs ($3.50), a single pancake ($4.50), and hash brown potatoes ($4). Totally reasonable pricing, and excellent meals, topped with the Always Summer (Malibu rum, Triple sec, OJ, Pineapple juice, Grenadine, $13). The place filled up pretty quickly after I arrived at around 10 a.m. Andres did an outstanding job of keeping track of my order, and served up the menu items piping hot. Couldn't finish it all, but it was a best-choice for brunch this morning.
