The owner of Exshaw auto truck and bus diagnosed the transmission had exploded inside the bell housing. He pulled the transmission on Tuesday afternoon and sent it to National Wednesday morning. This team of professionals rebuilt the tranny stronger than the original and had it ready to be reinstalled Friday at noon. There is no doubt in our minds that the business owners involved in helping 2 stranded seniors from Ontario get back on the road understand and epitomize customer service! When I called back to confirm, he asked if there was anything else I was going to add to the service and I said no, just the repair we discussed. Somehow he decided I was going to demand additional repairs and this would mess up his scheduling and told me he had removed my service request from his schedule. I was not sure if he was actually serious or not and had my husband call back a couple of days later. The service manager was very rude to my husband and told him he absolutely would not work on our RV. This was the most disconcerting interaction I have ever had with someone in the service industry. I'm not even sure what happened other than I am happy to look elsewhere from my needs.
