I took the day of work expecting them to come by to provide a quote. I was assured that they would be come by between noon and 1 pm. I called the morning of to confirm they were still coming. I was told then they would not be coming even though I confirmed with them on Friday. This all took place after weeks of correspondence and an verbal agreement that they would be interested in the work. I even sent pictures to show them exactly what the job entitled and I was assured that they were interested in the job. I agree with other reviews that they provide no courtesy. If they were not interested at least they could of told me from the get go so I could of found someone else. Brutal.

I had an absolutely appalling experience with Blue Lake Landscaping. I have been battling a…read moredrainage issue in my back yard for over a year now and called Blue Lake for a consult, as they appeared to be a reputable landscaping company with the expertise in drainage that I required. When I called, I clearly explained that my landscaping was completed but needed help with a drainage issue. When 'Fab', who claims to be the owner, showed up, I went through the issue with him. His first response was, 'Why are you wasting my time?' He then, quite rudely, tells me that my project is much too small for his company and demanded an apology for taking him away from more important jobs. I explained that I went through the scope of what I needed with the lady who took my initial call. After a nasty back-and-forth conversation where I admittedly used some colorful language, he re-read the notes that were passed onto him on his phone and started to backtrack, saying he should fire his secretary. He then flung a few insults towards my initial contractor's poor work quality and left. I was completely blown away by how unprofessional and rude someone in a service business could be to a potential client requesting to pay for his services. Blue Lake will never get a dime of my money and I'll relay this story to anyone considering using them.

I would say 98% of the plants made it through the winter and the following spring, they came by and checked them out and replaced anything that wasn't thriving in my garden. Hired Rob's Tree Removal owned by Druze to take down a 30+ foot tree next to our house that was in…read morea flower bed. He arrived on time, his crew were well dressed, the truck and chipper were in excellent looking condition, and the entire job was completed in less than 1 hour, including a perfect clean up. You would never know that a tree had just been cut down and chipped - driveways, flowerbeds, walkways, sidewalk and street were completely cleaned after. I thanked each of the crew members (5 of them) for doing an excellent job, and each said to me, "thank you for the work" or "thank you for hiring us to do this job". When do you get people expressing being so grateful for being hired? Druze is a very proud owner of his business, and was working alongside the crew as a team member, doing many of the tasks they were all involved in. Price was extremely reasonable, especially considering 5 people were involved, and all the equipment. Cannot recommend Rob's Tree Removal enough.
