I took my 2…read moreyear old twins to their appointments yesterday and the assistant was very unprofessional taking my kids vitals. I optioned in to have my children's iron levels checked and the assistant seemed like she was nervous doing her job but was so aggressive trying to get their blood into the glass collector, it was not the first time they got their iron levels checked but it was the first time where they were both super uncomfortable (maybe even in pain) with it being done. I was irritated to the point where I had to walk out mid appointment. Once I walked out of the room i seen both assistants sitting on their phones laughing and acted surprised when I was exiting, saying "I thought the doctor was in there with you!" Mind you we were in the room literally right in front of her. This place is super unprofessional and needs to hire better and knowledgeable staff. I will never schedule with these people again. This is a warning to whoever plans on bringing their kids to this facility.

The health insurance rep talked to the person at the window, who told them because I hadn't used my deductible,they were in the right to charge patients more. Umm, its the first month of the new year! Health rep told him no, he cannot do that. I chose to leave and not be seen. Please be careful with this medical facility and their practices. They were helpful with all the paperwork and were very prompt with everything. Now as for Dr.Ong there are not enough kind words I can say about her. She was professional while compassionate. She was thorough and explained everything to me without leaving out any details. She took her time and I never felt rushed through the entire process. She is honestly an Angel from heaven. The VA evaluation and claim process is pretty tortuous even on a good day. I'm just glad that Dr. Ong has the clinical skills and compassion that she does. I would be happy to have her as my primary care practitioner any day of the week.

just now New I had…read moredone blood work about two months ago with my doctor in Idaho, my blood iron saturation was critically low so I started taking iron supplements, and then recently moved to Vegas causing me to need a new doctor. I went to Kathleen because of the good reviews but I got the opposite of helpful. I told her that I had been extremely fatigued lately, had just finished taking iron supplements, and needed to do follow-up blood work to see if the levels had improved. She said okay ordered new labs and said she would call me with the results. Over two weeks later I received no call, so I called them myself to follow up. I called, and they said they didn't do any iron or iron-saturation labs; instead, it was just the typical labs like cholesterol, triglycerides, etc. I frustratedly explained the whole reason I went into her office for an appointment was for fatigue, they said they'd call me back and see why the labs ordered weren't for that. No callback, so I called myself at least 4 times. No answer, no call back nothing. Angered and frustrated is an understatement. I made a different appointment with a different doctor because that's just unbelievably unprofessional and I don't feel like wasting my time any further on Dr cansler. If all that wasn't bad enough for you not to want to book with her, my appointment was at 9 am, i didn't see her till 11 am.

To make matters worse, the doctor prescribed 14 days worth of antibiotics...14 DAYS!! I knew I would be leaving for a vacation for San Francisco in less than 2 weeks, and I knew having a drink with my antibiotics would be a serious no no. I asked the doctor to change my prescription to something with a shorter duration...no luck (in fact he was kind of smug and rude). It was time for a second opinion...Dr. Fisher to the rescue!! He takes walk ins on Wed. after 3 (thank goodness it was Wed.) I didn't have to wait very long, and the receptionists were very helpful because I didn't have my insurance card handy. When he came in he sat down and talked to me like a human being (I really felt like I was important). I told him my medical and vacation woes and he listened. In fact, he even talked to me about my vacation and was incredibly friendly. Unlike Quick Care, he actually told me what was wrong with me, and assured me he would have me fixed up in 3 days because nobody wants to be on antibiotics during a vacation to San Fran. Now I am feeling like a million bucks, and I don't have to worry about being on antibiotics during my vacation!! I am going to make Dr. Fisher my primary care doctor. The thought even crossed my mind that I shouldn't write this review because I want to be able to get in to see him whenever I want. :)
