So, Kyle Field looked a little different back when I went to school at A&M. Ever since we joined the SEC our stadium and campus started getting major renovations and facelifts. While the old stadium will always hold a special place in my heart, the new one is state of the art, and is certainly makes for a more enjoyable game day experience With a capacity of just under 105k, there is plenty of room for excited fans to come and watch a game. There all isn't a bad seat in the house Some of the amenities include dozens of restrooms, AC in inclosed areas, WiFi, elevators, escalators, and concessions. Theres suites and club level, alumni vs student sections While the food and drink are slightly overpriced in my opinion, it's still nice that it's offered and with plenty of variety. There's burgers, wraps, candy, hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, pizza, cotton candy, and so much more. There isn't a crazy amount of shade in the stadium and the games can get hot so make sure you hydrate. There's plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available Some tips: Definitely stay seated for the Texas Aggie Band performance at halftime. This is a one of a kind experience. If you don't know what people are shouting during the game or some other quirky traditions, just ask your neighbor and they'll be more than happy to indoctrinate you Parking can be tricky on game day. On campus parking garages fill up, and nearby street parking is limited. I would consider using a ride share if you don't have a parking pass. It's also worth noting that A&M has a clear bag policy for your own safety. You can bring in a water bottle of your choosing as long as the seal has not been broken Tailgating a game is just a fun as going to the game. All around the Southwest part of campus will have hundreds of tailgating setups. There's often vendors out and about offering freebies and games. Also, after the game (or before), consider walking over to Northgate for a drink or two Cheers!

I have been to over 20 million college stadiums and this experience was about the worst. This does not reflect on the pre-game activities like the march of the Cadet Corps, which was pretty interesting. When we got in, we noticed that the escalator on our side was broken. They would not let us cross to the other side, so we had to walk about one flight of stairs. Then when we go to the top, they had barricade up on our side of escalators along with the other side. We tried to explain that the first level was broke, but they did not care and made us walk about the second set even though the escalators were not in use. We tried to explain the situation, but they would not let us through. The same thing happened on every level, a bunch of us walking up to the 400 level and a worked set of escalators wasted. Then the food choices are really limiting. We walked the full level and there was a lot of hot dogs, some burgers and BBQ, chicken tenders and that was it. Then $12 for a soda! Then there were not enough bathrooms and really poorly designed with no good flow. They did have separate exit and entrance, but people were kind of collected at the front waiting for stalls while urinals were open. Then the steps to seats are really steep. I guess was to fit in more seats, but you need to be in great shape. The fans are really enthusiastic and engaged, hopefully they do not visit other stadiums to see how bad it is at Kyle Field.

It's the first round of the college football playoffs. You have your fight in texas.Aggies going up against the hurricanes of miami.

What a fun time! My little bitty college didn't have a football team, so cheering on the aggies in my 40s is my first college football experience! And what an experience to have! My first game was the surprising upset when A&M hosted the App State Moutaineers. Being a transplant from western North Carolina, I was excited to see the boys from back home play my new home team. I brought along a former student buddy to help navigate the traditions, and there are quite a few. Songs, chants, the yell leaders, etc... If you are heading to a game, grab an Aggie as a guide, or make friends along the way. It's such a fun atmosphere! I highly recommend cheering on the home team, regardless of the odds of that particular game :) If you're around the night before a home game, consider staying up late for the Midnight Yell practice! The yell leaders will get everyone in the spirit with tall tales of the shenanigans the opponents are getting into. How much fun!

Considered by many to be College Football's loudest Stadium a trip to Kyle Field should be on any fan's agenda, all 102,733 home to a "12th man" with renovations in 1999 then 2015 adding over forty-thousand seats while simultaneously closing off the south endzone. A place steeped in tradition, its entry-ways and concourses barely able to handle the crowd, fans teeter over the field as high as the 400's where an iWatch will frequently warn of unsafe decibels. Visited for a Prime Time matchup with The Irish, ESPN Gameday assuring a liquored-up student body, everything was electric despite a slow first half and every cheer, chant and dance saw all but perhaps five hundred folks in green fully engaged till a few minutes remained.

Definitely a huge stadium for a college that cares a lot about football. Expanded and renovated recently so it's extremely up there for college stadiums. I just wish A&M spent a bit more money on trying to help students out with lower tuition, helping associate professors get paid fairly, or paying student workers better wages. Or get a massively expensive upgrade on the stadium to get those sports dollars.

I've been to games at 14 of the 16 2024 SEC schools, and about an equal number of non-SEC schools as far north as Pittsburgh and as far west as Utah. Kyle Field is the best of them. Here you will find the nicest fans and the best stadium. Some of my greatest memories were made here, and there's nowhere I would rather be. Gig 'Em!

One of the absolute best college football venues in the country. The atmosphere is unique and electric throughout the entire game, however, during big games the seats tend to get a bit overcrowded. This is due to seat labels generally being too small for one normal sized person to fit in, but this should only apply to bench seats.

12th Man! Why yes please! We would jump in to help anytime!!

We are the Aggies! The Aggies are We!! We Kyle field and enjoy coming to games. We watching our Aggies play, the BAND march and play awesome half-time shows. However, prepare for long lines at the food locations. I'm sure they are having trouble hiring people like everywhere else in the USA. The workers were pleasant but stressed. Refill drink machines did not work at times. No soap in 3rd deck restroom before game started. (Or broken. I tried to find attendant in walkway to tell. None around.)

Incredible atmosphere, great fans, and cool stadium. Went home with the L, but still had a good time.

There's nothing like seeing the Aggies play at Kyle Field - with 101,000 of your closest friends. If you're lucky and have connections (a kid at A&M) maybe you can sneak into the student section where the Aggie Spirit is over the top!! LOVE the nationally famous Fightin' Texas Aggie Band - and of course, Miss Reveille, Cadet General of the Corps. 5 Saw 'em off stars!

    There are no bad seats!

Had an amazing time watching a great game. We had tickets about 5 rows below the large scoreboard screen and thought it would suck, but it was really a great spot. Next time we will go more for a side view but it worked! It was very easy and quick to get in. Most people wait for the escalator lines, but it wasn't that hard to go up the steps and then continue climbing one of the circular ramps. If it was good enough thousands of years ago for the Coliseum, it's good enough for now! It was easy and fun but it took a while to go all the way up. Plenty of food and drinking choices. We even had some Rudy's BBQ that was awesome. No one comes to the nose bleed sections selling food or drinks, so you are on your own. The climbing at the top looks steep but it wasn't that bad once we got used to it. In fact we could surprisingly see much of the plays and game with a ton of perspective. The most enjoyable part is this place is dialed in for handling a crowd after the game. It was very straight forward to get out of the stadium, into our car, out of the parking deck and onto the road home. In fact, I think it was faster to get out of town for this college game than ever for any of our High School football games with a ton fewer people.

This is a cool stadium. The fan base is on arrival with their traditions in chance. I was there to see LSU playing but the stadium and the fans make you want to be at A&M fan. I'll be back to see another game.

Somebody please tell me how the current system is better than when you walked up to the ticket window, bought a ticket, then went inside. It took about 30 seconds to buy a ticket, and the line moved fast. This line moved SLOW. I shudder to think what would happen if my mom tried to attend a game in Reed. The line would grind to a halt for 30 minutes!

Loved it all but the only negative strike is getting out of the place is a HUGE pain. They only have a very few exits and everyone going to the same few spots while groups chit chat make it pretty staked. Food/drinks are the usual steep prices but not too fantastic. Definitely a spot I wish I could return for a basketball game. Pro-tip: if you are lining up for a graduation, do NOT wait at the Main entrance. Those are as far from the stage when you enter as you can get. Go to the right/left of the main entrance and go to whichever is furthest from this point. If I did it again, I would have gone to the right of the door the graduates entered.

There is nothing quite like a baseball game at Olsen Field! This is a family friendly atmosphere and the perfect way to spend a beautiful Spring day! The ticket prices are very affordable at $8 for an adult general admission ticket and $5 for youth. Reserved seating is about $20 per ticket for an adult. For GA tickets there are a few sections available on the 2nd deck( 1st base line) and lawn seating botboth the 1st and 3rd base lines in the outfield. If you want to guarantee a comfortable space to sit with GA tickets, I recommend arriving 30 mins to 1 hour before game time depending on how big of a game it is. The food is not overly amazing, just typical ballpark food like hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, nachos and candy. You will definitely pay an arm and a leg for anything you purchase at concession or through one of the vendors. If you have time, I recommend packing up some sandwiches or loading up a small grill and just tailgating a bit before the game begins. We have done this several times and have really enjoyed it. My daughter loves the play ground which has definitely entertained her on many occasions. My only complaint is that some times there are kids playing that are maybe a bit too big to be out there and they tend to run and mow down any smaller kids in their way. There is a little thing known around the ballpark as "Olsen Magic" and my friends this is real. You never know when a player will rope a Grand Slam in the bottom of the 9th to win the game! It's the best feeling ever, amplified by the excitement from the fans and the bubble machines shooting hundreds of bubbles into the air. If you've been putting off attending a game at Olsen Field at Blue Bell park, I want to encourage you to get out to a game soon! You will definitely enjoy it!
