Normally grab some stuff for the house but on this day just grabbed a couple hot boudin for a car ride. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful, and the price was just what I'd expect. Grabbed a pork boudin and a shrimp boudin. Both of them were cased perfectly and had excellent flavor. Both had a bit of a bite to them as far as spiciness, but I personally enjoy that. The pork had a great depth of flavor and the shrimp just tasted fresh and clean. I would get those again any day of the week. For hot food to go or seafood to make yourself at home, Hebert's is a winner.
