So a $5 card is only worth $2.00. You have to reload cards to be able to use machines as cheapest machine was $3.75. Attendant not helpful. Seemed very unhappy to be there. Wouldn't complete our conversation, she went into office & wouldn't answer the door. Really don't deserve the one star.

Then the washer doesn't fill up all the way for the regular wash. Then if you're not paying attention the machine will make you add more money then what's posted on the washer machine. I moved into this area a couple of years ago and started using this laundromat. I normally go here…read moreon weekends after midnight, when it's not so busy. There are several sizes of washers -- smallest are $2; the next size up, which consists of most washers, is $3; there are three larger washers for $5, and one megawasher for $6. There are a lot of standard size dryers, plus 6 large dryers, though I have never seen more than 4 of them that are working at a time. Standard size dryers are $1.25 for 30 minutes (minimum). I use low heat (which is comparable to medium heat from a home dryer, I'd say), so depending on what I'm drying, I use them for 42 or 48 minutes (quarters are in 6-minute increments). There are a few chairs to sit on that are easy to move where you want. There are several benches (kind of like patio benches) in the middle that face the TV. There are about 8 stainless steel tables for folding clothes, which are always spotless. The floors are usually clean. Machines use quarters only, but there are bill changers that take $1, $5, and sometimes $10 bills. I always take $5 bills (and $1) only just to be sure. Up until a few months ago, there was a woman who worked the weekend night shift. She was really nice, and always helped me with the machines if something wasn't working right, such as the quarters getting stuck, or the water not coming in as it should. I was disappointed when she stopped working there (or at least stopped working the weekend night shift). It seems in the last few months, more and more machines are showing up as out of order, which is the main reason for one star off. But I'm satisfied with this place. I don't know if this is true in the daytime, but as I said, I always go here after midnight on weekends, and from time to time I get people asking for money. But most of the time, I come in here and peacefully do my laundry, with only a few others here.
