This is one of the smaller/older stores and as you open the door all the hot food smacks you in the face. Kwik Trip is really a convenience store with fresh food, hot food cooked in the store and the famous take and bake pizza. They have food specials all the time and the $1 rip off Mc Rib was on when I stopped by. The bath rooms are usually clean compared to other gas stations which I like. I gassed up and had all my needs meet which is why I like Kwik Trip. One of the special today was the 12 oz 99 cent Frappes which sounds good but not my cup of tea, they always specials which is why people like the place. The $2.99 ground chuck beef and bun special was still going on which is a good deal.

I believe this gas station has eight pumps and all were being used. Kwik Trip is close to Highway 151 and off of Highway 16 so this station is very convenient. Plain and simple. Nice station.

They have clean bathrooms - a Women's room, a Men's room, and a large family bathroom. They also offer fresh-made drinks at their cafe counter. You have to check out the Concord Zoo while you're here. It's to the right of the store across the parking lot. There was a staff member feeding the animals while we were there, and the enclosures looked pretty good from what we could see. This will definitely be our go-to rest stop the next time we drive this direction.

Walked next door to grab some more items from the gas station to get back on the road for our trip and a lady came around the corner and in an un-polite way said, "just so you guys know it's cash only today". No, 'hey I'm so sorry our machines aren't working', or 'so sorry but there's an atm if your wanting to grab some cash', no good or kind explanation came out of the person who is dealing in customer service. There was no diesel available for purchase either. Pretty much, thanks for the lunch, but definitely will avoid this place as we come back through here as we vacation. What is wrong with attitudes today? Aren't we glad we have a job, work in general is cherished for some of us and we are grateful for every hour that we get at a job that pays for our everything. Lesson here, if you can't be happy in a customer service job, please, please do yourself and every person around you a favor and go be a someone who sits behind a wall or computer and doesn't have to see or talk to humans.
