Counters need wiping due spills and the fountain machine needed to be cleaned. The Dr. Pepper from the fountain machine where the spout is had mold. I sent the food inspector a picture of it and what was in my cup. That just got my blood rolling and last but not least the store does not have any caring baskets for you to put your items in so I nicely put 6 bottles on the counter and stated I have to grab one more thing and Brandon rudely started grabbing the bottles and moved them and stated they can't be in the way for the customers which no one was behind me and the candy bars that I was grabbing was right next to the counter. Brandon needs to be trained on how to work with customers in a polite and respectful manner. I called him out and made my statement on how to be respectful and he refused to ring up my items and stated he has the right to refuse and will call the police. To be honest I was ready to throw the bottles at his face. All because Brandon is so miserable with life and his job, it's ok to be rude and disrespectful to people, but when someone calls him out on it he turns the situation around. I guess despite employers keep trash.

My husband had a major surgery and was prescribed a controlled substance for post op pain. I was told by the discharge nurse (this is my own fault for not double checking the RX/paperwork) that he should take his meds every 6 hours. I was making sure he did this so that his pain would stay under control. So the problem was the RX read that he was supposed to take them every 8 hours instead of 6. I asked his surgeon to send in another RX and I went to pick it up. After waiting in line for 20 minutes at the drive thru-I was told that there was a problem with my insurance (which I did not understand) but the employee at the drive thru stated that it would be ready in 10 minutes regardless. I said great...no rush...I'll just run to the grocery store and come back to get it. When I got back...I was told that it was too early to fill it which I did not understand seeing I thought it was every 6 hours. I was like...why didn't you tell me when I was here before. I will admit I was probably a bit snippy. I said that I realize that they are very busy but everyone's time is valuable. He had also told me that it was the pharmacist discretion whether it be filled early or not. (Which most pharmacies will fill a controlled substance 2 days early if needed.) At this point (it would have been 3 days early and he still had some) I left and had my husband call the next day to see if I could pick it up on my way home from work (for one, a snow storm was coming the next day) and he will be out by the 10th day due to (I admit my fault for the misunderstanding and I had told them about it) to run out before and the answer was no...by law we can't pick it up until the 10 days. So with that being said, I feel really bad that my husband will be in pain and after I pick up that prescription...I will never go to another Walgreens again...

That said, on a busy Saturday afternoon this Walgreens pharmacy came thru for me big time. They processed my insurance and RX in a timely manner, explained some state laws that we don't have in California and were nothing but polite and kind to me. Thank you Walgreens for taking care of me 2,000 miles away from home. Hopefully if I visit your part of the world for Phish again in the future I can stop by for something fun like Gummy Bears and not RX.

Between the fishing portion of the program and the fireworks, we stopped here to gas up and pop into the convenience store. As with all Kwik Trips I've stopped in, it's super clean and the store was pretty spacious for a convenience store. I had to utilize their bathroom facilities as well, which were also impeccably clean. We weren't looking for snacks, but had we been--they had snacks a-plenty. If you're camping in the area, they have a decent food selection, including some fresh fruits and veggies, even. Get to it!

First of all, I'm a huge fan of Faygo and they have the largest, most extensive variety of Faygo products I've ever seen in one place. Then I was really struck by how many prepared food options they have. I saw a BAG of soup that really baffled me. It's almost like a mini grocery store, they have all sizes and flavors of milk, including PEACH milk?! They have every fashioned coffee! Plus numerous cream styles and bottles and bottles of flavoring. I'm sad they're not in Chicago where you're lucky if the 7-eleven even has coffee brewed at all. They'd totally go out of business if Kwik Trip came to town! Now, on to the donuts. Their donuts have absolutely no business being as good as they are. When Dunkin took the Donuts out of their name it was because Kwik Trip put them to too much shame. The Parisian is where it's at...a cinnamon roll with frosting piled on top. But not just any frosting...CREAM CHEESE FROSTING. And holy hello these things went down WAY too easy and had me and my partner dreaming about them long after we returned home. Just writing this has me tempted to drive the two hours to get them. I was told they bake them fresh at their bakery in some other town and they're delivered daily. At 10 pm you can get donuts half off! It's probably better for my waistband that they're not closer to me! To top it all off, the staff is SUPER friendly. Over a 4 day trip, we visited multiple times over different shifts and every single employee was happy, helpful and welcoming. Like they really do just enjoy working there and serving the community. Love it! I love this place!
