"Ma Na Ma Nah...do doo de doo doo--Menomonie!" (The Muppet Show)…read more Statler: "Is she singing? I thought she was choking!" Waldorf: "At her age, it's hard to tell the difference! DOHOHOHO!" If you just sang that ditty in your head like the Muppets, you're already in the right mood for a visit to the Menomonie Food Co-op Market. This market is as effortlessly fun and cool as Janice from Electric Mayhem, but with less trout pout and more lentil dip. "Fer sure!" Here are the highlights that you really don't want to miss! THE BREAD SITUATION: The artisanal rosemary sourdough loaf from One Love Bread is the stuff boy bands are made of. This bread is basically what happens if you roll Harry Styles in flour and water. It really deserves its own Manchester disco-dancing fan club, but for now I'll just sing its praises. DAIRY AND DAIRY ALTERNATIVES: I was totally NSYNC with this section. I'm not even sure what plants half of them came from, but they looked intriguing. Had I brought a cooler, my fridge would have undergone quite the calcium glow up! SODA ALTERNATIVES: This was the real Big Time Rush! We studied the sodas for a solid ten minutes like raccoons who'd discovered a vending machine. There are flavors and brands here I've never seen in the wild...some with names I can't pronounce (but absolutely bought)! The store was very clean and organized, and if the employees had been any friendlier, they'd have been covered in yellow feathers. In summary: great bread, fantastic selection, kind humans, and a soda aisle that deserves its own documentary. 5/5, will return. Probably for more bread. Definitely for more weird soda. Statler: "That was a long review!" Waldorf: "I wanted it to end five minutes ago! DOHOHOHO!" Ma Na Ma Nah.

They just put out fresh chicken and man did that smell good. Good my stuff and took off. Due to COVID19 it was nice to see hand sanitizer when u walk in. Wish the dude with no face mask and dirty everything would have used...it but hey! That's just me. I got what I needed. Paid for my stuff and it was smooth sailing. Great place. All the workers had gloves- shields. Some people don't think that is a game changer. I do. I have many friends that do as well. I was in the Army tho, so I never had a problem following rules and until 30-y/o's are off their father and mothers cell phone plans, I will respect their opinions on the mask and slowing the spread! That's a joke. Chill Yelp-ers! Well not really a joke. Too many 30-something or younger don't know what it is like to be without. And older people that don't think this is all true don't watch enough news. But we all have a right in America to do as we want. Meanwhile 5 major educated countries stopped the spread dead in its tracks by what? Wearing gloves and a mask. Be safe out there. Spread love and not hate. Let's slow the spread so we can all go back to normal and enjoy some good times again. Eat with out friends and. It worry. Until the next Yelp, Yelp-Steve-O, out!
