Ronnie March, who set up the business with another partner back at the beginning of the ninety's knows what it's like to weather a recession. Nevertheless, he says that times are tough at the moment and that business is simply "about surviving" until things improve. What he's noticed most of all is that people, who are desperate to stay on the road, are asking him to put on their spare tyres when thy get a puncture instead of buying new ones. These are people with very little money, either drawing the dole, or in minimum wage jobs, where often their hours have been cut. But, without a car their chances of improving their lot are significantly reduced. It's a vicious cycle! Ronnie does what he can to help, but it's clear that he finds the situation demoralising on occasion. Nevertheless, he has a wealth of experience behind him, and a solid set of shoulders with which to carry the present burdens. Being an affable soul, with a sense of civic interest, coupled with a good sense of humour, he will do more than survive I'm sure.

With A1 tyres owner Ronnie you get sincere cheap prices and he always has a smile on his face with a friendly word too. Absolutely shocking service - I wouldn't even give 1 star if I had the choice…read more I had a tyre replaced here after a puncture, and from the start the experience was poor. The tyre they fitted was not like-for-like with the rest of my tyres (which were all Michelin), and this caused ongoing issues with my car, including the tyre pressure warning light staying on. When I returned to raise the issue, instead of helping, the so-called manager Adam was extremely rude, dismissive, and outright obnoxious. His attitude was completely unprofessional. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there - the Operations Manager Tom was just as rude and unhelpful. There was no accountability taken at all. In the end, I had to go to Kia, who confirmed that the tyre should have been matched correctly in the first place. Once this was corrected, the issue was resolved - something Malvern Tyres should have known from the beginning. To make matters worse, I was informed that due to the way Malvern staff spoke to a Kia manager, they have now lost their tyre contract with Kia. That says everything about how this company operates. Poor workmanship, worse customer service, and a complete lack of professionalism. I would strongly advise avoiding.

The lads Andy, Mike and Gav at Malvern were able to fit me in and rectify the tracking. While there I enquired about MOT and Mike was able to fit me in the next day. The car failed on just one noisy wheel bearing and anti-roll bar ends. I was able to return the following afternoon and Mike repaired it all and issued the MOT. Overall very happy with the service. Very fair prices, easy and swift with all repairs.
