Iowa mid-grade has state subsidized corn likker in it and is usually about a dime less than unadulterated regular. It was so cheap, I wanted to do donuts in my minivan, or drive another 400 miles so I could fill up at this price again! Yes, the line was long, but, it moved quickly. It's Costco! It's one of the best pits stops for a road trip with cheaper gas, $1.50 hotdogs, clean restrooms. Why go anywhere else?

I'd come back here now, and grateful for the fantastic service. At first things were great. I was in town for work and various signs pointed here to buy craft beer. The store is not well organized (beer is not by type, sorta random, mostly singles) but whatever they have some solid selections. Then I made a mistake and didn't look on the bottoms of the cans. There were IPAs that had remove from shelf dates in summer 2024 dates on them when I unloaded. What the heck are they doing still selling that? I cannot recommend this place as a result. To respond to the owner's questions below: Monday Brewing Space Lettuce was one. I visited on August 1, date of review.

Then you should have told me. I apologized and told him I am half deaf and don't hear well. Forgot lighters after the fact and he wasn't happy about it. I'm not sure I'll be stopping back in if he is working. Have a great day!

Sure enough, it was hot and ready when we arrived. We also picked up a few premade items. The pizza was good, but being gas station pizza it has a ceiling. It was as good as we expected it to be. The premade items (slice of cheese pizza and premade King's Hawaiian BBQ Brisket Sliders) were good as wel. Great stop on a road trip when you need to get gas, use the (clean) bathroom, and grab some food to go along I-88 as long as you don't expect anything beyond gas station standards. Lastly, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

The woman who replaced them was in a really shitty mood and just boxed the food that was all burnt to shit and just sent it out. The wings were hard as rocks we literally horsed one down the street with a baseball bat lol. and the rest was BARELY edible.

Tom and Selena are incredible! 12/21/20 Thanks to Cindy's recommendation I've still been using the device she got me hooked on! This is my favorite place to stop. The majority of the time the employees are friendly, fast, and quick to offer help or alternatives if something isn't available. Even with lines out the door they manage to get the line thinned out - though sometimes i wish they would give cashiers extra help when there is a line and only one person ringing people up. This location is ALWAYS busy - I've only been there once when it was empty. They have hot food to go, prepackaged meals to heat up for convenience, snacks, shakes, coffee, cold beverages, items like butter/eggs/sour cream, and a beer cooler. Great if you don't want to make the trip to the grocery store!
