like most every Kwik Star in Iowa this is a nice one but a smaller one..and as you expect most of…read morethe Lacrosse Wisconsin based Kwik Trip /Kwik Stars the good news is it's extremely clean like all of them the food is fresh to coffee's fresh you can park four big rigs and you can pretty much park around the perimeter as long as you don't park like a dip shit. they don't seem to mind long as people get around had to use common sense to stay out of the fire lanes where the hydrants are numbnuts. the cans are kept clean like always if there a pigsty you flip the light and they come in immediately attend to him that's a good thing about KwikTrip facilites you don't have to worry about filthy toilets for hours.. diesel fuel islands for trucks most your Major fuel cards are accepted. I personally think these are some of the best around right up on par with Wawa out on the East Coast.. but I need time I'm up in North of the cheddar curtain in Wisconsin Minnesota or around I always have these down and stop cuz I know I get some damn good Colombian coffee always fresh..they should have shopping carts or two for those that want to wander around like a little market gives that ambience feel that you're doing some actual shopping too. but there's always the fresh hot stuff that comes out of the kitchen like your fried stuffed grilled cheese are really good here I'll show the cheese sticks and cheese bread or fantastic but personally what I really like those I'd like to eat healthy when I come here and I do like their salads.. but you're just a great well-run well-maintained franchise basically is what it boils down to and hopefully they stay that way with all their selections. fresh desserts daily on the table all kinds of goodies and yummies. the only reason I don't review every single one is going to review would be the same it's pretty much what you see they're all the same for the most part other than some of the bigger Travel centers that have a scale that's the only really glaring difference and more parking.. one small side note though the area could be very sketchy and there's a lot of low-income around this area use caution at night time just use your best judgment you have low income housing directly behind you had the Best Western Plus which isn't bad you got a motel 6 which is if he said you have the relax in that I like to call tweakers palace and you could draw your own conclusion from there.. there are a lot of panhandlers near the area sometimes and some sure. Hood activity that like to hang out after Dark crime isn't too bad cuz they got security cameras but just watch yourself around here this area has changed in the last 10 years kind of nosedived

Indefensibly rude and inhospitable…read more My mom and I were visiting the area, and stopped on here to fill up our two carafes with hot water (we had our own pour-over coffee we were going to make) and two cups of ice (again, for our own beverages). First, the woman working up front came out from behind the counter and followed my mom to the back. Then when she saw my mom reach for the hot water spigot, she asked skeptically, "Oh, you're just getting hot water?" Then the worker proceeded to stand there like an idiot and watch my mom until the carafes were completely filled. Then when my mom had to use the bathroom, and left the carafes with me, that same worker followed her into the bathroom to see what she was doing. After making and drinking our coffee, we came back in to look at the real estate ads in the newspapers. We took one of each over to the counter with the high chairs. As we tried to locate the classifieds, that same worker came over to bark at us that "You need to pay for those papers before you can read them!" We set them down and left - we figured, "let the sorry old biddy be a nuisance to someone else." Let me be clear: this was our first time EVER coming into this town--let alone this store. We were never treated this poorly at any of the Wisconsin locations we visited. If you need any supplies on a long journey, do NOT stop here, unless you want to be treated like a dirty criminal.

Located at the junction of interstate 280 and US 61 South this was a long time coming it was needed near the Davenport South West part of the city. This one has a very large truck parking lot scales. Like many of the newer Kwik centers there are showers a TV room unfortunately the TV does not work they can't seem to get the service hooked up properly but they're trying. This one has a good Wi-Fi Like all the other KS has the beer cooler and all the stuff you come to expect from Kwik Star the fresh deli the hot food the pizzas the Frozen the full convenience store great coffee. the free ATMs no fee(your bank May charge different) I came in got myself some nice hot two pieces of dark meat chicken tonight leg and a thigh, some mashed potato side with gravy and I was kind of hungry so I also opted for the cheesy filled breadsticks with some marinara sauce cup. Wash it down with a 28 Oz Powerade zero sugar grape. Very very clean although it's still new but most of these Kwik trips and Kwik Stars that you come to know especially the newer travel centers do a great job of catering to everybody. So no need for an extensive review it's like any other Kwik Star travel center but very well kept.
