I then asked the kitchen lady and she said it would be at least 20 minutes which is bull because they take less than 4 minutes to make in the fastest oven. She was very rude when she said it. I ended up not buying anything because of the rude kitchen lady.

At first I wasn't really excited about the place when the gas pump kept shutting off. The handle Wednesday squeeze so I kept having To squeeze it. I finally gave up after a few gallons and just called it quits. The clerk Barb was really nice. She greeted me when I entered and thank me when I left. I still can't get over how big and roomy this gas station was.

Been a loyal customer of this establishment for probably a decade. They have gone through an…read moreownership change and unfortunately a service change. I usually do pick-up, this last year we have had numerous instances of not getting what we ordered, missing condiments, cold food, over-cooked food and the staff doesn't seem to understand their own menu. I tried talking to the kitchen manager Virginia. She became super defensive and actually blamed us for not being clear on our orders. I pointed out that if their are questions, they should clarify as we travel 15 miles to get to this place. She told me that we need to order off the menu. When I pointed out we did, she told me that was the wrong menu....how am I to know that? There are not dates and times on the food in the warmer and this has gotten us a few times. We have also noticed open toed shoes in the kitchen as well as a baby in a car seat, sometimes walking. An employee was carrying cooking oil and fell recently while using a poorly maintained walkway to dispose of the oil. She got frustrated with our complaints about the lack of quality and told us not to order there anymore. Wow! Needless to say, we will be taking her advice, If I were the owner of this place, I'd look at making a few changes before its too late.

Had I spent more time there, I am sure I would have walked out with a birthday present for my mother in-law or mom! Additionally, there is an Arbys (with a drive thru) and Godfathers housed here. I never carry my wallet so I had my phone for Apple Pay but little did I know after ringing up everything the tap doesn't work on the self pay machines. I had to go to the associate who was unaware the tap pay wasn't working but a regular customer said that they haven't worked in a while. I would suggest putting a sign up because most people use tap to pay nowadays. I get to the register and my cashier didn't ring everything in the bag up I could've gotten away with $17 worth of items. I'm an honest person so I told him there was more in the bag. I would visit this store again but please fix the tap to pay on the self service registers.

For years, they have been calling in take-out orders or just driving up to get some of the best broasted chicken in Northern Iowa. So that's what we did on Father's Day. Picked up three breasts for less than $8, and took them home to eat. Add a few side dishes, and you are good to go! There's a small dining area inside, so if you are on the road, take a break and grab some chicken. It's moist and delicious! Just don't smoke on the "premise" (per the handwritten sign), and you should be OK!

Some are mirror images of one another, which I refer to as left hand stores and right hand stores, depending on which way you turn to approach the cash registers. This is a right hand store. When you go into the store, you'll get that feeling of Deja vu, which is exactly what the owners want you to feel. This store is newer so it uses the newer floor plan. It's left handed. Karuba Coffee, Dunkers, doughnuts, and hot foods are straight back. Rest rooms are on the far end, take a left at the cooler. Lottery forms are back there, too, for processing at the registers. The no-fee ATMs are to your left as you enter the store. Out on the gas island, you'll find Unleaded, Unleaded Premium, E-85, Unleaded 88, and Diesel #2. The store is 24/7. If you happen to drive an 18-wheeler, there is a separate truck fueling station. It's easy in and easy out with no silly roundabouts to come through. You'll find Diesel #2, Premium Diesel, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid. This is a nearly complete auto and truck plaza, there's no car wash but that's about all that's missing. It's a complete convenience store with sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks and almost anything you could need in the coolers, freezers and food gondolas. Like all Kwik Trips, the bakery all comes from La Crosse and it's pretty good. It's everything you've come to expect in a Kwik Trip and a whole lot more.
