Everyone is friendly and more than happy to help with random questions. I did however only give it three stars which I'm thinking maybe four stars, only ding them one star for what I'm about to say but it's one of my pet peeves, one of the things that really bugs the crap out of me, so I took away two stars.. I drive a lot as most people do that come to a truck stop and when fueling up I like to wash the window. This place has really good window washer fluid by the gas pumps it actually suds up a little bit when washing your window. The squeegees are always brand new looking and have really long handles, and the washer fluid itself is in a big 5 gallon bucket so they typically are never empty. (Unlike Speedway gas stations where they are always empty).. But anyway for the past 2 or 3 weeks, I've noticed that the washer fluid out by the pumps is getting a little slushy. It really shouldn't do this if it's mixed properly and with the amount of grime on the window even being slushy it still worked but I could see the problem developing. Sure enough I go in there this morning and all of them are frozen solid. I did ask a couple times over the past couple weeks to random employees about it and I got a shoulder shrug from one and another one a few days later said that it's awfully cold out. This of course was my point but my interpretation was they didn't feel like going outside to do anything about it because it's awfully cold out. I know a lot of you are probably thinking I'm making a big deal out of this but it's my personal preference. I'll pay an extra $0.20 a gallon for the gas if I can wash my windows.

It can be busy, but never waiting for a pump. They also have an easy order fast food, for this area that's a big deal. Run in for milk, beer, snacks, whatever. They will have it. It has counter service. We ordered three sandwiches. One was the Mustang, the other one was Scotsman, and the third one, I can't remember. The Mustang had ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, oil, and vinegar on an 8" bread roll. The Scotsman originally came with tuna salad, banana peppers, bacon, and tomatoes in a wrap, but I asked for chicken salad and on an 8" roll instead. The sandwiches were flavorful and delicious. Mine hit the spot. I also had a Hawaiian Punch Sour beer from Rising Storm brewery, and it was refreshingly delicious. I had a good experience and would go back here. However, it does provide great prepared food options for a very underserved farming community. Extra star for taking care of people who would otherwise have to drive to the next town for pizza or subs when they just don't feel like cooking. The staff at this location are always pleasant and helpful and the pizza, while certainly not the best I've had, is fresh, has plentiful toppings and puts most convenience store pizza to shame. If you frequent this area, I would suggest looking up the specials online. While the pizza is better than average, it is a little pricy for a convenience store. Last I looked, there were two large cheese pies for $16.99 on Tuesdays and Thursdays... That equates to buy one, get one for $3. We live in a community where we have numerous options... grateful that Mom and her neighbors have Crosby's!
