Upon my arrival, Carla and I talked in depth about my needs as I was 5 days post-surgery. She was warm, kind, very soothing, and straight forward. She understood how much pain I was in, was honestly interested in helping me feel better and making sure that I felt better and more importantly felt relief from the pressure pains I was feeling as a result of fluid buildup. At checkout, before I completed payment, the therapist asked, "$10 tip okay?" which made me uncomfortable. I prefer to choose the tip amount myself based on the service provided. I tipped $7 in cash, and the reaction I received felt disappointing and unprofessional. Tipping should feel optional and appreciated, not assumed or pressured. I filed a dispute to get my money back, because at this point, it had been withdrawn from my account for over a month. My credit card company credited the funds back to my account. The business owner then responded by blacklisting me from their business. I do not recommend Fusion Massage due to how Fusion Massage treated this disabled veteran.
