I have no clue why I said that but I mean it man. KVUE is the premier news channel in Austin and everyone else is just chopped liver to me. Early AM to late PM this channel is packed with programs that we have grown to love. Who knows how many times have they exposed information that the public needs to know about, I've lost count dude. All these years I have trusted the meteorologists at Kvue, but here in the past year, they have done nothing but LIE to the public. Instead of being honest and just saying you're not quite sure when the rain is going to be here, you have to blaintley lie to make you look good. It's eventually going to back fire if you continue to lose people's trust, especially Jordan Darensbourg. He doesn't know how to be truthful. It has rained in hutto, Round Rock and Georgetown all morning until now. He stated that the rain wouldn't be here until late tonight. All my retired neighbors are pissed off at him for lying. If you're not sure, keep your mouth shut. It will get you in trouble everytime. It's pointless being dishonest or just outright guessing. Not cool. And all you're doing is losing viewers over it. Not our normal local news station. Caught the segment called last word. And it was about the tragedy in Uvalde. First of all i don't watch thenews to hear your personal opinion. I watch the news for the facts. The segment was horrible. This gal on her high horse speaking down to others. Why don't youalk about the deaths and shooting in Chicago every week? We have been watching KVUE for quite some time now but recently things appear to be quite different! We absolutely cannot stand watching Jordan Darensbourg give the weather forecast. He is not professional in any way! He truly isn't that good/great of a weatherman or even a reporter of any kind. He can't speak on camera without having spit in his mouth! This is extremely discussing and very unprofessional! He isn't KVUE material in our opinion. He spends more time flirting with the female News Reporters, than he does concentrating on his own job! We have also noticed that the advertising segment before the Sports segment still has that discussing old blonde haired man doing the Abacus Plumbing commercial, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT sell this commercial time to this old man again!!! He is repulsive to say the least....and NO ONE wants to be delighted by him! Your station would have a lot better ratings if Jordan Darensbourg wasn't one of your weatherman and you fired the Abacus Plumbing Old Man with the repulsive sayings! Until we see otherwise, we'll be searching for a different news cast with more professional individuals and with more professional advertising as well!!! read more

KVUE has failed as our news station of choice. KVUE have fraudulently passes on reporting the truth on the current administration's performance and does not report the facts of national and local concern. KVUE constantly dilutes or ignores reporting or commenting truthfully any of the failures of both Adler and Biden. We no longer consider KVUE a news station, it's more of a bias opinion station. I wanted all of the Uvalde parents who lost children to know that this type of tragedy happened to me November 22,1993 in New Orleans .I was informed while out of town that my wife was killed and her children by the new boy friend who had no gun much less three guns as Dewayne Parker was a good man and I never believed the story I was given .What they are not saying about my wife and children is that they are the in laws of the speaker of the house whom most don't like ,including myself .nor do they mention that I the husband am the son of NASA's top man . I am the father and was the husband to the 1994 gun ban victims .Later those behind the murders would kill my daughter who was with me at the time of the 1994 shooting and my Nasa father .I would learn that it was my dad's job at NASA that got us killed and that those behind the deaths had sabotaged a government project in the way of the cocaine that would make the Clinton's bullet proof and powerful. I would find those behind these attacks but am to powerless to get them jailed .Hillary Clinton and husband Bill got in with the cartels and the New Orleans mafia and killed my family with dirty cops because we were in the way of their drugs and their New World Order. God help us to understand the actions and inaction of those who say they are on our side .If their were drugs and a pit bull in the classroom they would kick the door ,kill the dog and seize the drugs .I wish I could give us the justice we need but you are now seeing what we all fear and they don't want said .Truth is the sword that will defeat the enemies of our children and free us to be parents again. read more

Really? Just watched KVUE's lead stories tonight and they reported there's a few people upset at SXSW due to traffic. Really (again)? They actually had a reporter interviewing a lady sitting in traffic. 100m to the local economy, great music, food, and for the most part, people enjoying themselves. With all that's going on in this world - let's report on the negitive? It happens once a year, there's a lot of extra people in our great City and yes - traffic. Not really too much to report. Kinda waiting for the next heavy rainfall when they report that the roads are wet. read more

I thoroughly enjoy the early morning news show. Definitely different than the alternatives. Bryan Mays adds a bit of unconventional, non- contemporary verbage in to a well mixed cornucopia of important information and upcoming events. For me, at 5-7 am, its KVUE, or nothing at all. So; KVUE'S weather on the web USED TO BE EFFICIENT. I USED to be able to look at KVUE and see the week's forecast at a glance. It worked well. NOW, I see none of that info, and instead I have to listen to a person doing a forecast , which takes up much more of my valuable time. .... And I still don't get all the info I need. The new format is not worth the extra time I have to take, to get LESS info that I got from the previous format. ... So: "I'm outa here". read more

I gave KVUE 3 stars rather than 1 star because I really like the morning news team, Bryan and Yvonne(5 star newscasters). I also like the entire KVUE weather team, led by Albert. KVUE would get 1 star for the sports team. Mr. Jones has very poor sports content and I can't stand the "painted on" smile. He is especially bad compared to Mr. Barnes, the previous sports guy who did an amazing job covering Austin sports teams.The 5, 6, and 10 news team would get 2 stars. They were previously much better prior to some personnel changes. Hannah, the weekend anchor, is very good. KVUE should consider moving her to a better weekday role. read more

As my weather alert went off last night for a tornado warning, I immediately turn on the TV for information. You channel was the one we always watched, but you had a commercial on while all other channels where on telling us in Kyle to take shelter. Definitely not news I can count on. Supposedly the highest rated news in Austin, but I find them worse than KEYE or their sister station in San Antonio.

I don't think people realize how stretched the resources are at a local TV station, like KVUE. There were several posts saying that they didn't do this or do that but if you notice the field reporters are usually doing several stories a day. This ain't Dateline Catch a Predator. I have been watching KVUE for years but recenlty the chanegs have forced me to change channels. I have sent emails to the station with a response so I will assume they do not care. The new weather person they have Lyna whatever her name is , is the most annoying person from that awful voice to not evening understanding what she says. I used to check their website every morning for local news and weather. The changes they made to the site now qualify it for the most annoying website ever, hands down. While you're trying to navigate through the articles, the screen will fade and take you to a full-page ad for diabetes meds. Just when you think you're going to get to read in peace, the screen again fades and is replaced by numerous images falling and moving around the page. When I voiced my frustration, I was twice referred to e-mails at KVUE that are no longer valid. I sent one the other day to the general manager, but have not been shown the courtesy of a reply.
