I do think that this possibly could've been handled quicker. But like I said my case was complicated, they moved offices and then COVID - so some delays that occurred we're out of their control. Besides the delays - my encounters with Kevin and his team were always a delight. They were very professional, and took time to answer all my questions. We ended up getting a settlement for what I think I deserved and that was greatly appreciated. Worth all the time in the end. I would recommend them to a friend but hope they improve on regular and timely communication going forward.

I was a victim of catastrophic trucking accident the morning of March 5th of 2019. From that very…read moremoment, my entire life would never be the same! I was struck by a Borden Dairy's milk truck, that was driving in the north bound lanes on Cobb parkway close to the intersection of Bells Ferry and Cobb Pkwy (Hwy. 41), but decided he would use them to drive south long enough to attempt to cut through in the median. Did I also mention no lights on the box truck where in working condition. NOTE this was around 5:45am so it was completely dark. Anyways I understand this is a review not a testimony so long long story short after nearly two weeks in the trauma center at Kennestone hospital under going multiple surgeries. First to stop sever internal bleeding, removing almost two feet pf my large intestine that was cut in 7 places, removing a rather large section of my liver that was severed off. then another surgery to remove the emergency brake pedal that embedded into my fibula after sliding all the way up from my ankle to about 4 inches below my knee cap. resulted in severely broken fibula and under going multiple skin graphs. My wife came across Fried & Goldberg while I was still undergoing treatment in the hospital. At first everything started to seem like it would work out. I remember Michael calling my wife while he was on vacation in Costa Rica to give his condolences and assure us we wouldn't ever have to worry about anything. that they where going to see to it that me along with my family would be taken care of. they had video surveillance and all the evidence they needed to compensate me back for all the hell I was put through all because of the laziness and negligence of a milk man. My Lawyer assured me I had to worry about. i was the victim 100%. well after a year in a half, it was finally time for mediation... I must add, at this time I am still undergoing extensive treatment for my leg, severe PTSD, major memory loss. while being told for almost two years I wouldn't ever have any worries. I would compensated enough to get completely better. At that time my wife and I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to work again. Reason I would never recommend this law firm is how my lawyer went about settling this entire case out. My mediation took place via Zoom Video call. Come to find out my attorney was away at his lake house because he had caught COVID. My entire mis conception over this entire case is how can an individual settle out a lawsuit sick like that. In my eyes how is that much different then say you are in a court room and you are granted a plea deal from the D.A and you stand under oath in front of a judge and they ask those few questions, one question asked every time. Like, "You fully aware, you aren't under the influence or in a state of mind that would have any type of effects on the sole decision's you make today". Now i would like to know how that is far from being much different. I saw my attorney throughout my depositions. At those times totally different. strong never was there any intimidation. But on the day that decision's and clear thinking meant the rest of my life. needless to say, that day went totally the opposite for me at least. Ended up with a small fraction of what he thought at first would of been the bare minimum I would walk away with. well almost 4 years from the day of the accident i am still undergoing wound treatment, trying to find ways to fund the costs. because obviously the case has been closed but i am barely half way healed. Tell me how that's works. please do your research. this firm just put in more debt and has given me more medical bills. No great lawyer should close a case when they have a client that is still hurt especially undergoing treatment after treatment.

Ann Fitz here, responding to Kevin W's review. I was hired to represent his son on a misdemeanor…read moreoffense, which I was able to get dismissed. My assistant was thereafter responsible for getting the expungement paperwork to the client after the dismissal; as I explained to Kevin, she told me the paperwork had been submitted. Unfortunately, my assistant had lied to me about it being done (this was a pattern of hers and she was fired as soon as I realized that she was not doing her job) and I was unaware that it had not been submitted. The oversight was discovered by an attorney representing Kevin's son on a new charge. When Kevin contacted me, I apologized, explained what had happened, and offered to submit the expungement paperwork, but he declined. I'm sorry about what happened with the expungement paperwork, but in all fairness I did what I was hired to do, and that was to get a dismissal of the misdemeanor charge.

My wrist was fractured, I was sent to Barbour ortho first but Mr. Brock, nor his employees asked how much the services would be. Once they discovered the cost immediately told me I wouldn't be seen there so I basically tried to start figuring out how I could get the surgery to fix my fractured wrist. That was an unnecessary medical bill #1, #2 it created extra stress for me as the client. After threatening to fire them they found a doctor to do the surgery. Throughout the entire process I probably spoke to Mr. Brock 3 times, and I would always have to reach out to Frances to get an update (until it was time to get the check). I was told I would have to reach out to Grady to workout the remaining balance, mind you I had insurance and I'm also a vet. The day I went in to pickup everything, there were several unsettled accounts and Frances kept speaking to me as if I didn't understand what she was explaining to me. When she told me that I was only gonna have to deal with Grady. They of course made sure they received payment but left me having to pay out of pocket. They also didn't have to fight with anyone because I was paid through my insurance. If you find yourself in a accident I would definitely choose someone else or figure it out for yourself, as you'd be doing that anyway if you went with their services.

Integrity - it's something we're missing in our legal system today. Mr. McMaster, Esq. worked with…read moreme on a case for approximately 5 month - absolute and integrity! No fault of his it took that long; we were hoping to stay out of court. He knew exactly what he was doing, all the right questions to ask of me to assist him; and though we ended up in court, our case was on the right side of the law and we didn't have to take it before the Judge. Matthew had no concerns in representing me against one of the largest law firms in Atlanta. The case was dismissed without prejudice and I'm fully aware the landlord, a large real estate group which owns numerous complexes throughout America and Canada, could open it again; I have my doubt that happens, unless it's the complex - it won't be the lawyer group If there's any retaliation. Of course we're hoping that doesn't happen, but if it does I have no doubt Matthew will do everything to get me through whatever may come. No lawyer can promise a perfect outcome - that is a false perception many people have when they hire a lawyer. However each step of the way Matt allowed me to be a part of the process, explained laws that had changed and why, answered my questions, and he also respected me and listened to the knowledge I had as a tenant and the law I had studied. He was never dismissive or made me feel I didn't know what I was talking about. I highly recommend Matthew McMaster, Esq. if you have a Tenant/Landlord that can't be resolved without an attorney. These days most laws are in favor of the landlords As we live in a greedy country. There are changes each year; it takes one with a willingness to continue their education of the law to keep up with these changes to be able to diligently assist their client. Matthew is that kind of attorney. As long as you are honest and truthful with him regarding the details of your case - even if you have made mistakes - he'll be the same with you and handle your case with the utmost of integrity. Always keep the FAITH because I can assure you Matthew has the Faith we all need today and he doesn't give up!
