It's the number 1 place in Edmonton to get threading done…read more The best way to contact them is to call 780-438-9442, I have it on speed dial! LOL. Thanks to 1 reviewer, they have improved returning calls, and if you don't get to talk to an actual person, leave a message and someone will call you back and book your appointment for you. Slots for appointments fill up pretty fast, so as soon as you think you need an appointment with them book it as fast as you can. They are now taking emails so that they can send you an email confirmation and reminder as to when your appointment is, which I think is pretty cool especially if you're forgetful-saves you time calling them back again and asking when your next appointment is. They do accept walk ins but, they rather have you call in for an appointment. Sometimes they run behind especially when someone has stubborn hair or when instead of 1 service, client decides to have 3 services or a full face done or something like that so, it's not always entirely staff's fault that they are running behind. Usually they tell you when they are running behind and they do apologize for the wait, they generally do not like to make their clients wait. There are 5 wonderful ladies who does threading. They are professional and nice. All of them are very good and if you want to try them all to see who you most prefer to do it for you all the time, you can; and then you can request that particular person to do it for you every time. So far I have tried 3 ladies: Sandeep, Noor and Jessi and they're all very good... My favourite hair stylist is Noralyn, she did my cut and colour so nice that I have found my stylist! The price is not bad either compared to going to the mall and paying lots of $$$$. They do also offer facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, shellac, tinting, makeup application, laser hair removal, hair cuts and styling.. one of the cheapest I've seen in the city for blowouts! ;) Right now they are offering a promo on Mani and Pedi and Laser Hair Removal. I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to friends and family. If you ever have a problem with the service just call them or come see them and explain what happened and the owner/manager is very understanding and respectful. You can even bring your babies or kids with you when you get your threading or waxing done or they can wait in the waiting area. I took 1 star away because as many of the ladies want gel nails, they don't offer it and they don't have an official website and Facebook page. They also don't do hair extensions, if you have those clip-on ones they can clip it on for you but they don't have it for sale in-house nor do they glue them on . Lastly weak wifi connection for all you connected peeps so if these are non-negotiables for you, better not disappoint yourself and find another salon. If you read reviews like this, I suggest you try it first and then decide; but for me so far, I'm happy with the service and the price I paid for which is the bottom line.

When we arrived, they had no record of the appointment she had made a week prior. They were able to take her as a walk-in. She only wanted a wash and style. The stylist was very rough on mom's little, old head. She manhandled her enough to break her necklace. She lost some of her freshwater pearls. Then came the blow-out. She cringed at the rough brushing. Mom was clearly not happy. She paid $43.00 and left a $2.00 tip. I consider that pretty expensive for a quick wash and blow dry.

We arrived and looked around at the jewelry and skin care products while we waited shortly for them to call us. We went to the back where they had the soft bench seating with pillows. The decor and colours are soft and cute. My sister and I were seated in the middle we were offered water or tea. The seating wasn't totally comfortable for my back but ok. The two ladies who did our pedicures were friendly and not overly talkative. It was a relaxing experience with the foot soak and scrub, paraffin wax treatment, and cleaned up toes and polish. The foot scrub came in various scents which we got to choose from and there were lots of different polish colours. My feet were left feeling smooth and refreshed, perfect for my vacation!

I get a good haircut here with Riley, and I do keep coming back…read more I do think it's worth mentioning that the last couple of times I've had a haircut booked, they call me and move it within about an hour of the appointment. There is no reason given, and although I understand things happen and come up, it doesn't reflect well on the business if I can't rely on them to consistently make their appointments. Not to mention their own cancellation policy requires 24 hours in advance. Although I intend to return to get my haircut this time, I'm not sure that I will continue to come back if appointments keep getting moved like this.

Her service was friendly and flawless. She listened carefully to what I wanted then went out of her way to make sure I was happy with the results. Her (environmentally friendly foam) foil job was done to perfection and her wash, scalp massage and hair handling was akin to a Gold-Seal chef creating in her own home kitchen. I knew I was in seasoned, talented hands, and best of all, I trusted Erynn's opinion, so I asked her advice about cut and styling, and she literally taught me step-by-step how to achieve the mop I want in 15 minutes or less. (Now it's my turn!) Thank you, Erynn, for an amazing job. I will definitely be back for your TLC.

At the beginning of this year, I decided that I was going to chop my hair off to where it was almost buzzed and I really wanted to go to a good place to get such a huge haircut. That's when I found M.U.D.! I was obviously scared because I've never been there before but everyone was so helpful and friendly and really listened to what I wanted. Erynn was amazing and made me feel so comfortable with the huge change I was going to get to my hair. Erynn's haircuts also grow out very well. I've only had it trimmed once or twice since I've gotten it cut and it still looks really good and has a really nice shape to it. I've recently gone back to her to get my hair coloured and she was very knowledgable about what was reasonable and what can be done with my hair. Overall it's a nice salon. The staff are friendly and customer service has always been good there like any good hair salon should be.

Very disappointing experience especially with the way gift cards are handled…read more I am extremely disappointed with this company and, after this experience, I would not recommend purchasing gift cards from them. The gift card promotion was misleading, and when I questioned how it was being handled, the company did not honor what I understood to be advertised. What made the situation even more concerning was the handling of the gift card balances. What is especially concerning is that I had two gift cards that were actually on my account, while another two were gifts that had never even been added to my account. Yet somehow, there were questions surrounding balances and transactions on those cards as well. The whole situation left me with serious concerns about how the gift card balances and transactions were being managed. When I reached out to try to resolve the issue, I expected someone to look into it professionally and work toward a reasonable solution. Instead, the communication turned into an ongoing back-and-forth argument. Rather than trying to understand the customer's concern or find a resolution, the person handling the matter seemed more interested in defending their position and insisting on their own interpretation of the rules. I want to be clear that the staff I have dealt with in person have actually been the best part of this company. They have been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Unfortunately, the experience dealing with the owner or whoever deals with their email communication has been the complete opposite. The lack of customer service, willingness to listen, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Customers should not have to argue repeatedly to have a company properly investigate a gift card balance or explain unexplained transactions. If a promotion is advertised, customers should be able to rely on those terms, and if there is a misunderstanding, the company should be willing to work with the customer rather than simply dismissing the concern. My advice: be very cautious when purchasing gift cards from this company. Based on my experience, I would not purchase them again. It has completely changed my perception of the business, which is unfortunate because the staff themselves have been wonderful.

Text! - so easy! I got an appointment with Nichole who happens to be the owner too. I don't know what I was expecting but was blown away when I walked in and the waiting area had gorgeous big sofa's with stylish mirrors above, the check in desk has a few items for sale including brow pencils and the shelves at the back are full of brow make up, fake tan products and different waxes. I went through to the service room and it is very comfortable and well decorated. There was a cool print of James Dean on the wall. I was diggin' the vibes. I filled in a form as a new customer which asked about redness or breakouts etc. Because of the answers I gave she chose a tea tree wax which prevents breakouts after waxing. She mentioned she stocks like 20 types of waxes as she is a waxing specialist. Not just for her recommendations but also some people have a favourite brand so she likes to stock all the best products. After a pain free wax and brow tint we had a good old chat before I left. She recommended products (in conversation not in a pushy way) on how to achieve certain looks, perfect the arch and be able to keep the look up at home. I was so impressed and the price was completely reasonable too. I don't even mind driving to Sherwood Park for the service. For a brow wax it totally exceeded my expectations!

It's now been ages since I had my hair cut, I shopped around and even cut it myself a few times (not great, but not hoooorrible!). Today I had an appointment with Brooklyn. She was amazing. Fun, vibrant, and I honestly don't even know what she did. I closed my eyes to drab sad heavy hair and opened them to fluffy bouncy curls. I went from a 6 to a 10 in her care. Added bonus is the head massage when they wash your hair. Not every stylist is even able to wash hair and have me relax, but the massage erased a fully stressful day that preceded it. Everyone in the studio was eye smiling and seemed to be having a good time, definitely a nice energy to be apart of.
