Nothing like a latté and a book!

There's not a lot of places in Bordeaux where you can gef matcha so I'm very happy to have found KURO. It's near the merry go round and the Grand Theatre however it is in a back street not a main street so keep that in mind when looking for it. It is a relatively small space so I sat in the patio in the back for more comfort and more air. I ordered a soy matcha latté and a zucchini cranberry muffin and both were amazing. The latté was a lot sweeter than expected but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Also the cashier was a complete sweetheart and very approachable.

Exceptional service! The owner is a knowledgeable, multilingual purist with all the know-how and equipment to make the best coffee in Bordeaux! Must-visit! I really hope he succeeds with his new business!

Best place for coffee in Bordeaux and delicious selection of homemade snacks and sweets../

    Lush latte and chai latte

Kuro is my lastest coffeeshop crush in Bordeaux. Hidden behind the Grand Hotel, this cosy little place offer real specialist coffee, which is rare in this city (but a growing scene). Most importantly, the owner is really attentive and will give you all the advice you need to make your selection. Decor is simple but warm, in the nordic tradition with plain wood tables and cute cacti all over. I tried their chemex, soy cappuccino and Chai latte and they were all yummi. Baked good are also to try. I think next time I'll go for lunch and let you know what this is like ;-)

Les tartines au houmous avec une salde verte, des carottes rôtis et des légumes purées et un cappuccino :)

The Ham and cheese croissant and quiche were better than anything we tasted in Paris or Bordeaux!
