Great work and very professional. Had several projects done in my home by them and would have them back for future projects.

Highly, highly recommend. Some background, we had aging steps that desperately needed to be replaced. We decided that we wanted to change it up and expand our back patio space by building a larger deck and a pergola over it, as well as an over an area that used to be bushes. That space we made the decision to use stamped concrete and Brew City Builders had a trusted vendor (J J Enterprises) that would work together and put forward one complete quote for all of it. The team quickly came to our property for measurements, quoted out our project and got us on their schedule quick. Their team was exceptionally skilled, kept the work site clean and were very friendly. Even when we put in a last minute request for a privacy wall they were willing to add to the plan without causing disruption to the schedule. We have absolutely no complaints and are very happy with our deck and patio space. As well, we receive compliments on the project from our friends and neighbors all the time. Brew City Builders is THE team you want for your deck and porch project.

They were very attentive to our design ideas and communicated with us throughout the project. We had 2 porches/decks as well as a custom fabricated fence installed by Dan and his crew. We couldn't be more impressed with the restoration work completed by Marcus and his team. From the…read morevery first conversation, he demonstrated professionalism, deep expertise, and a genuine commitment to bringing our space back to life. Every step of the process was handled with care. He provided clear communication, thoughtful recommendations, and a level of craftsmanship that's increasingly rare. He didn't just "fix" things; he restored them with precision and pride, making the final result even better than the original. The team was punctual, respectful of our home, and incredibly organized. They kept the project on schedule, maintained a clean work environment, and made sure we understood what was happening at each stage. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone looking for top‑tier restoration work. If you want quality, integrity, and beautiful results, this is the contractor you want.

Marcus and his assistant, Devon, came out yesterday to repair our back deck. The deck was built 20…read moreyears ago without professional guidance, so some of the woodwork was kind of wonky. The top part of the deck, made from teak, is still fine, but all the rails (aside from the main supports) and bottom of the stairs were pine, so many of those parts needed replacement due to wood rot. Additionally, the slats that framed around the porch weren't attached properly, so Marcus took them all off and reattached them correctly and securely. He also removed an electrical outlet that wasn't working and capped off the wiring. The baseboards were also replaced with PVC. It was a full-day project, and these guys worked hard. I can't say enough for their professionalism--from the quality work they did (plus explaining everything to me), and beginning and ending the day with cordial words. Such politeness is not a give in these days. The day began with a friendly greeting and ended in the evening with, "Have a nice night," not to mention polite interactions throughout the day. They also cleaned up perfectly, removing all the old wood. Even though they went beyond what we discussed, and Marcus did the extra work (wooden slats that weren't attached properly and a piece of wood behind the stairs that was replaced with PVC which we hadn't talked about initially) Marcus stuck to his original estimate. ***I would recommend these guys without reservation.*** I will also add that their pricing was very fair with an estimate given ahead of time. It was an stress-free day. Thanks Marcus and Devon.

Working with this company was a nightmare a12-14 day project turned into 3 months and 2 weeks…read morewithout being to take a shower. In addition we started having problems with the work they did and he refused to correct the problem because I gave him a bad review. Also this company has been reported to the Better Business Bureau by other customers for similar reasons Please look him up ! The owner has been reported BBB by another customer in a short amount time considering he has only been in business for about 3 years. RED FLAG Please be careful ! The owner makes excuses for everything . Again he has been reported to the BBB by others and it's not an accredited business by BBB. PS: the owner claims we purposely dug out grout to make it seem like he did a crappy job who in their right mind would do this on a 30,000 dollars project (Really??? ) RED FLAG!

First of all, this is not a licensed general contractor. This company has been in business 2 years…read moreand is not accredited by the BBB, Better Business Bureau. I'm starting with this because anything relating to doing Plumbing or Electrical work, or installing egress windows in a basement requires permits. Why....because there are a lot of unlicensed contractors in Wisconsin that do bad work and by pulling a permit, the city inspector has to come out to check the work to make sure the contractor charging you money knows what he is doing. Next, this guy, quoted me $11000 for a job and wanted $8000 up front.....huge red flag. Why you ask, because and I quote Stefan, I'm a small company, I cant compete with multi million dollar companies. Right away this made me think, this guy is going to take my money and run, 2, this guy may do work, but has no money to pay his guys, so the project will be in limbo forever, and lastly, because he has no money, he needs to have multiple projects going at the same time to have any money. Stefan, was at my condo when I told him over the phone I was not going to give him $8000 up front. I told him I will give him $2000 up front, and make progress payments based on his work, he argued with me for 10 minutes, whining about how hes a little company and has only been in business 2 years. He was doing demo on my bathroom, he removed the shower, toilet and vanity, but only disposed of the shower, he basically left after I gave him the $2000. Because he was supposed to do plumbing work on my condo, the hoa requires a weeks heads up to shut down the plumbing stack in my building. He did the week notice, but never showed up. My wife called an texted and he gave us numerous excuses ranging from he was sick, to my wife didnt pick out materials.....which he was supposed to meet her for, and never showed. The last excuse that he didn't think the H.O.A needed notice because he can shut off the water inside the unit. This is when it dawned on me he's not licensed. There is no water shut off in my unit, you have to shut off the water supply to the unit to change the plumbing. I called an emergency plumber that I was referred to that same day, the first thing he said was I need to pull permits for this....awesome, lets do it. Stefan never mentioned permits.....because you reading this are as licensed as Stefan is. I checked the Wisconsin License Bureau, there is no contractors license under AAA General Contracting. As I write this, he has ignored my wifes wishes to get the fob to our building, keys to our condo and the balance of the deposit back. Stay away from this guy, he will be out of business and will not be able to warranty his bad work in years to come. For basements I would recommend Total Basement Finishing's, for plumbing Hagen Plumbing and for General Construction, Classic Carpentry.
